I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Any update on multiple logins for multiple work accounts please?

Any update on when we could get the multiple logins for work accounts?

Please make this functionality available also in the Desktop App in Linux.

We recently moved to Teams. On Skype multiple sessions were possible e.g. watching presentation on one chanel while doing an additional call on another channel. This is not possible anymore on skype. This is a big loss in efficency. I'm disappointed.

As a contractor for many clients with many of them using teams it is very important to be able to communicate and collaborate with all of them simultaneously. Please fix this.

Please also consider adding this exciting new feature to the Linux desktop app! It doesn't get the love it deserves in my opinion.
I'm glad to see partial support finally here, but I must say that since build 1.4.00.8872 I have trouble logging into my university account.
As many others I would also like to see support for 1 school + 1 work account first.
Keep up the good work!
It's nice to see the new support for adding a personal account, but this completely misses the point. I need to be logged in with multiple work accounts from different organizations at the same time.
It is very disappointing that this is still not possible.
How moronic can this be? This is already supported on the mobile App for a long time... I cannot fathom how this has not been solved on the desktop applications... I need to be logged at least into three different microsoft accounts at the same time and that means having two different browsers opened together with the desktop application just to be able to do that...
Microsoft... Wake up.. This is a major reputational issue... You cannot be this moronic... We do not give a shit about useless things like together modes and other bloatware useless shit... We want simple, pragmatic solutions to real problemas... Not to be able to be logged at the same time into multiple accounts is one BIG, VERY BIG issue...

Really disappointing to see this feature has not been released yet. Having recently started a consultancy and working between different organisations. This makes my work much more difficult than it needs to be. This is poor for microsoft.
Please - launch for 2 work/school accounts first.
Funny enough my Microsoft Teams Windows client actually has two org accounts. Required me creating a personal MS account using the same email address as my second org account. I then added the personal account, pressed 'managed accounts' from the settings pane within my personal account and attempted to 'switch' to another guest tenant causing Teams to crash. When I open it both my org accounts work.
Don't recommend trying to reproduce this as it's obvious a glitch. But interesting to see the client fully supports it. Likely prevented due to conflicting tenant settings or something.

Looks like the RoadMap still says 02/2021. Any update on true multi tenant?
I am a big teams fan, but it's absolutely terrible that Teams has *still* no real multi-account support. I know about personal accounts (but don't know anyone who is using it). I understand that this is difficult with multi-tenants, privacy topics, etc. - but it's a real productivity killer to not have it.
Need to have multiple Organization accounts and be able to switch between them. Slack has had this for ages. We don't use Personal accounts at all.

It does not appease us that you are adding some useless feature while promising some indefinite timeline for adding the real feature. If anything, it confuses us and/or makes us angry. We're asking for Water and getting Oil with the promise of Water at some "later date". Your Personal Accounts are like Oil. What would we 34,000+ Contractors care about logging in with personal accounts when our clients each have Organizational Logins for us to use? Hurry up with the water. This, and many other reasons, is why we use Slack. You have a long uphill battle, get to work or just quit now.

Multiple orgs and switching on MacOS too please
1 work plus 1 personal is missing the point entirely. Worthless in relation to this request which is for multiple organization accounts. Your roadmap says this is rolling out in Feb 2021, but here it is April 2021, and we still don't have this capability. Can you update roadmap and this suggestion with new timeline?
What's the point of tracking the status via the roadmap if the roadmap itself doesn't track the status?

Why can't there be multiple organizational accounts?
Microsoft Teams is a joke at this point....
