I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
As a consultant in multiple companies, not having this feature is very frustrating.
This is the second most requested feature of Teams, it has been over 3 years since the ticket was first acknowledged by Microsoft, 18 months since it was last moved off the backlog to "working on it", and 6 months since the last time anyone bothered to update your customers with progress.
The only tangible progress has been "faster tenant switching", which isn't even what people are asking for here.
I think your customers are well within their right to be frustrated by the lack of progress on a feature that your biggest competitor has had for ages, but even more so by the failure to provide any kind of regular updates on this ticket.
Can you please provide an estimated launch date for this feature?
Please do this ASAP - logging out and back in all day and missing messages from the other teams!

Just confirm the urgent need to allow for logins with various MS accounts at the same time in the desktop app for WIN10. I work on several projects run through MS TEAMS installations where corporate rules oblige to use an internal account of the entity at least to work as "owner" of a group. This creates a new MS identity for this installation and once logged in there, any other disappears. The need to switch between right now three different MS iDs to see the three projects is tedious and takes away all the benefits from using this platform.
When will this be available on Mac Desktop? It is very difficult to manage multiple customers and having to sign in and out of Teams. Any key dates you can share with us?

Is it going to be implemented or not ??????????????????
How do you so this? I tried in Desktop Teams on a windows machine but it's not there (or is it well hidden somewhere?)
I went to try and add my second O365 account today - and no, it seems I couldn't add another account. it's terrible to only allow on account signed in at a time.
I have seen this feature in Android Teams Client recently. Please share when this will be available on Windows Client.
good grief MS - we need an update on Progress and ETA - this is a terrible position for leaving customers hanging
Please un update. Give us at least a date when do you consider this important feature will be implemented.

Please update us with a date when this critical feature will be implemented. This is very important for so many of us. It is making it harder for me to do my job(s) every day! I am missing messages because of the awkward workarounds that I must make to make things work.

I want to be able to have diffrent accounts active in diffrent Windows. Kind of like how New profile switcher works in Edge Chromium.
Thank You for working on this issue for the Desktop app!
Worldwide and European Datacenters will hopefully adopt and adapt this new surge in traffic..! ;
I understand that it is currently in progress. However, I can not seam to find it on the road map. could someone please provide a link to it? and / or provide an ETA other than "Soon"

I was disappointed to see this is not in the Microsoft Teams Roadmap. Should we expect this anytime soon? It is embarrassing that Teams desktop app doesn't currently have this feature.
Another example where Microsoft builds a cool system so they can say to investors that they are relevant but then doesn't finish their work...
This is why people pay a premium for Apple products and apps like slack and zoom... they always work!
Having a feature request from 2017 that is still not done is crazy..! Especially when you consider that (IMO) the average Slack user that has more than one organization that they are apart of.
It'd be nice to see a Microsoft that truly focuses on customers vs internal politics...
Please, it has been six months since it was marked as "working on it". This critical, high-priority feature was originally asked for on Nov 2, 2016, and on Jan 17, 2017 it was merged into this idea. At this current time, the number of votes is 21866.
Both kids using ms.teams and they have yo log out each time if they use the same ipad...:(
Can we have an ETA. As many organizations are shifting to teams, this feature is really important. Please consider this as priority
