I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

We've been waiting for this for a long time. It is disappointing that the feature hasn't arrived yet. Losing hope...
I found this today (apologize if it has already been mentioned here): https://danielsmon.com/2020/04/02/multiple-ms-teams-accounts-on-the-desktop.
It doesn't get all of your Teams accounts running within a single instance, but having them run in separate windows is the next best thing as far as I'm concerned.

Can you elaborate this functionality.

This is a fundamental basic feature .. how was this overlooked. It needs to be in the client on windows ? when will it be available or we will not consider teams.
I am excited as most both of the organizations I work for are now using TEAMS and am also finding external partners are using it as well so am a guest on multiple teams. The challenge is this has created weird experiences in navigating from one to the other, not being able to see everything or have all options. Please fix this soon as people are getting very frustrated and ready to ditch teams altogether.

This is the singular gaping feature hole that has avoided our rolling out Teams in our organization. Slack has had this ability for years, and I'm dumbfounded we're not there yet with Teams. This really needs to be higher on Microsoft's priorities list of Teams...
we need it as well!
for the time being, whatsapp did one normal one business. why don't we have apps as the did ?

Duncan Anderson, it’s difficult to fix because the way they have implemented it. If they supported one primary account and allowed to add multiple secondary accounts then all teams should show up under the primary account the user signs in to. Have a look at Discord. They got it right.
This seems a no-brainer, especially as schools are now looking to use Teams for lessons. On behalf of all the working parents who use Teams through our work accounts, Microsoft please will you look at this ASAP. Thank you
Microsoft, really? How can something like this take so long when it's a core feature we all need. Forget the virtual backgrounds for videos! This is a practical feature we urgently NEED
What’s status on this feature? Still I cannot have multi account in teams app windows or Mac.

I believe this is really important too!
Not that complicated, Slack has been doing it right for years now!

Alex, this request is obviously too difficult. I think most users are ok with multiple teams instances. Perhaps focus on allowing that. Perhaps the simplest interim solution is to provide better functionality to the web app. Fix these issues and our lives will be better:
* Currently the web app is missing notifications and multiple video windows.
* The mobile app (Android at least) is missing notifications for accounts other than the one selected
* Clicking on a Teams meeting invite from Outlook needs to open and sign into the correct Teams account. Currently there is only one Teams profile linked to the outlook client. One per email account will resolve most of those issues.

If anyone hasn't seen this, it's more a different approach than a workaround...modification to run separate instances simultaneously:
Haha still patiently waiting.
June 2020 any update??
Any update on this?
When will this be available?
I'm rolling out Teams in a non-profit and a number of our volunteers already use Teams in the corporate environments they work in. Not being able to have both tenancies open in the Teams app at the same time - or even be able to quickly switch between them - is getting me some serious grief from a number of our valued volunteers. Please, please make this a top priority! It's a mission-critical feature - people work across different organisations simultaneously all the time now.

I can't wait to see this in the Mac client!
