I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.

Having this implemented would make life easier, currently trying to juggle 3 accounts and multiple project teams for each account. Hope that the vision of a single place to work is truly implemented soon.

You guys could just duplicate the way Slack does this. Where we could just switch in-between teams.
Support switching between accounts easily, for people who work in multiple customers environments, to simplify having to log in/out with new ID several times a day to check all teams sites.

One of the best things in OneNote is the ability to access multiple notebooks from several Microsoft O365 accounts at one time. This should be possible in Teams also.

Also not moving from Slack to Teams until this gets implemented. :(
Yes. This is needed!
i'm missing messages from clients because I have to sign out and in to multiple tenants.

Yes, need this asap, guests is good feature, but needs to be effortless.

"This is still on the backlog. It is taking a fair amount of investigation to determine the best solution to the request.
I hope to have more news to share soon.
Warren can you please tell us an update on this feature request?
Again this feature is not only wanted for ms teams but also ms planner.

TEAMS must enable multiple accounts in same app. Easy to switch between different organisations or non organisations channels.
The same way ONENOTE works. I can collaborate within my organisation on the company ONDRIVE and I can easely shitft fot collaboration on my private ONEDRIVE / ONENOTE without logging out and logging in to different accounts.
Teams is great but Slack now for the meantime. Bummer.
As I understand there are more pending features for Teams, but at least reliable notifications could help. With latest desktop version 1.1.00.19257 I'm not notified by other tenants mentions anymore. Mentions notifications still works on Android 1416/126.96.36.1998081401.
Chat messages are notified only when you're signed in on that specific tenant, on both android and desktop version.
It would be great to be notified by mentions AND chat messages for every tenants you have guest access, no matter which tenant and platform you're signed on at the moment. It would still require to switch between tenants to read messages, but it's a burden we can handle, as long as we know where and when to switch thanks to notifications.
At least with this we could wait until you pop it out from the backlog. :)
I am unsure why it really takes that much effort. Inside the Teams app, just create a wrapper around EVERYTHING that is already there and a navigate menu further to the left to switch between instances. Check out Franz 5, it already allows for this (I have multiple instances of Teams loaded).

Please, please, please ...
For a consultant this is Slack's killer feature, and I'll favour Slack until it's available!

Not sure why this function was not applied to the Teams platform. I am a IT service provider and I have multiple clients using Office 365 and this tool. If you follow the IT trends we know that Office 365 is becoming a standard...…..

This is essential to allow someone to collaborate with the multiple organisations they are part of. Work vs School is a classic example I face daily. Its been said before, but I'll say it again, Slack already have a POC for this which works. Curious how your architecture is different that this is a challenge?
From my point of view this feature is really nessecary if you want todo (time) mngt. of your complete (work)life.
Therfore for me it is very important this wish is not only implemented in the webapplication, but also in the teams app (for android).
I got the same wish for MS planner app.
It would be great if the UX could be simular to the outlook app in which you can manage the mail of all your mailaccounts in just one screen (which is really awesome).
Adding a voice to community to express that this functionality is a must. Right now, due to this limitation, we are still on slack. As soon as this is resolved we move to teams.
Agree. At a minimum, if I could have two instances open on my desktop, that would help. Without the mobile app allowing it, I can only be available for chats/calls from one organization at a time. Big issue.
