I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
So why is Org account available on mobile app version of Teams but not on desktop app?Any word on whether Tenant and Org switching will be available for DESKTOP App?
@alex. Amy new update on this? I see there are >12k people waiting for this feature that was requested over 2.5 years ago and has been worked on for about a year. Can you send some updates on the status every now and then? Thanx so much

@Pandurangarao Bavala : sorry, but what do you do with this ZIP file exactly ?

This is much needed. An account switch feature is available and works great on mobile. Where is it in browser/on desktop?

Agree with Justin King also. We are not asking for fast user switching. Need to be able to see all alerts without having to switch. Slacks approach works well.

I agree with Justin King, fast tenant switching is not the ask. I need to see alerts and messages from all my teams real-time and not be required to switch tenancy to stay up to date.

and to drive it home: fast tenant switching is not the ask. At all. Not one of the consolidated complaints is saying "i want to logout faster". We want to either:
1. login everywhere at once, bypassing the speed problem
2. have one login receive all information so multiple accounts aren't necessary.
Ether of those work. Faster logout/login is not the ask.

Adding fuel to the fire:
The multi-org support in Teams is fundamentally broken. If my primary account is added as a guest into a new org, I have to _switch_ orgs to talk to anyone. This is in stark contrast to simply talking freely in a B2B scenario under skype. While I completely understand org switching is needed as you attach to different SharePoint backends when navigating the actual teams ... ad-hoc chats do not need this. They simply need to be able to .. well ... chat.
I attached a sample image where I have chats going on in three orgs and my only option is to _constantly_ change orgs to even see what is being said.
Chat should be global. Never need switching. Only switch Teams/Files section of the client.
Working for multiple companies as a consultant at the same time, needing to be able to be online for all companies, and cannot join all the teams groups withing the same interface, Ability to run multiple instances of the client app will be very helpful
Could my team possibly get a chance to demo this? We're a Microsoft gold partner. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Looking forward for the update. I see this is available on my mobile app but not on the PC app. Please make it available on the PC soon.

Same question as for other users : what is the update of this feature ? Thank you team.

Kindly provide us an update on this. It will solve most of us who have teams in their organisation and also the client's organisation, then it will be very useful.
Please prioritize this HIGH. Being able to add multiple accounts like Outlook is crucial for Teams to be a business tool. It is very frustrating that the Mac OS client is able to handle a single account.
I agree I don't want fast switching. I want one instance of Teams to support multiple accounts within the same interface. I'm a consultant that has multiple Teams accounts from O365. I want it to function like Outlook where I can have multiple accounts connected and I'd get notifications from any of those from the one Teams app interface.

It is a catastrophe for us, that after switching off Skype for Business, all my employees are not reacheable in our teams tenant anymore, when they are in a client's tenant. Fix this fast, or we will need another messaging solution.

Can we get a Fall update on progress with this please?
waiting for this to.
I work in a multi-tenant company.
This is needed!
I work for two org. both have teams accounts. I need switch the account betwwen them to reply.
just like outlook, we can setup multiple accounts, and receive / reply different msg in different DIR / MSG, without switchover the account.
