I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

If you are desperate, here is a simple work around I've used to have two accounts open simultaneously:
1) Open the second instance of Teams in MS Edge web browser. (Most up to date ver.)
2) In the right hand corner of the browser (to the right of you avatar) select the three dots (...)
3) The three dots pulls down an options menu, in that select Apps
4) Then within Apps select "Install this site as an app"
5) Go to "start menu " you'll see the app under the first header Recently Added..
6) Pin to start menu, or other options, pin to start bar.
Now you have two separate instances of the app both with different login credentials.
Note have not tried this with more than two Teams accounts.
The new instance works the same as the Original Teams App.
hi what is the current status here ? when will this feature be rolled out for Mac OS

This is clearly a must have. I enjoy using Teams but, as a consultant, more and more of the clients I work for are using teams and, switching between orgs is really complicated.
Especially with clients using SSO
Please add that. I was searching for a way to do it, convinced it was already possible. How disappointing
We have many subsidiaries outside our tenant that would benefit from the ability to sign on to their one O365 account in Teams and not have to toggle to their guest account on our tenant to get chats and Team messages associated with that guest account.
Currently switching between accounts as a few clients insist on creating org based accounts. This feature would improve my workflow and user experience. Is there a timeline on the feature?
I need this now! 2 studies and parttime job is not manageble with teams. I need to log in and out all the time and it doesn't work that easily because it uses one account automaticly. This is so much more important that all the cosmetic features!
Its a required feature. It will be very helpful if you add this feature. Thanks!

This needs to be added for organizations that need to communicate with different clients as well as internally.
Teams is useless to me until this feature gets added.
Please please please add this feature!!! My boss want to change to Slack just for this, and I love Teams!!!
Receiving live notifications from different accounts is key
Microsoft - you just fixed the issue with more than 4 video participants after receiving over 50,000 votes. This is the next issue that needs to be resolved quickly. It is really painful for companies with multiple tenants and the experience of switching from one account to another is lot the same as a seamless ability to work across multiple accounts.
As with other updates - I am shocked you can get away with providing updates once every 6 months. If we were to do this for our customers we would have no business. Please provide an update.

Please, add this in Teams. For me, this is the only feature that Slack has an upper hand on Teams.

this is sooo necessary.
There are so many things that could be improved but this is one of the key issues.

Looking forward to see this in production!

Can you please consider to add in seamless multi-tenancy as slack has. Remove the "switching" notification that reveals I can still only remain logged into one account at the same time, and allow for all teams accounts to be logged in at the same time.

Is there any update on this? It has been a year that I have been waiting on this feature. Since I have 2 accounts (2 separate tennants). It is a real pain to disconnect from an account to be able to connect to my second account.
I have two teams accounts in my one teams platform. But when I receive a message on the teams account that I am not currently on, there is no notification for that message. How to enable the notification?
