I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.
Urgently needed. Think Consultant with 2 or 3 active clients (companies). I am a Team member in Company1, Company2, Company3. I don't want to have to choose which Company to be connected to. Need to be connected to all 3 Teams, all the time.
Another urgent vote for this feature, the whole experience of using teams to jump from one customer team to another is a really challenge in browsers. The client is just so restrictive.
If I get invited to one more team, I’m going to need another device on top of my dual screen pc, iPad, iPhone and laptop - yep, all pointing at different tenants

I think the problem is that Microsoft looks at the request one way but us users are thinking about multiple accounts in a different way. Sure, I have a pull down menu on my desktop app that lets me select my home company or client 1 or client 2, etc and that sort of meets the Microsoft definition of support for multiple accounts. The big problem that still exists for me is that when I select client 1, the entire Teams experience focuses on that client. During that time, and it could be hours if I'm working on a document for them, I'm completely disconnected from my home company chat, calendar, documents, etc and I appear offline to my colleagues. We either need a more granular control of what parts of the Teams experience get switched, or we really need a tabbed experience where tab 1 stays on home and tab 2 can be connected to client 2 with a completely separate experience defined by that set of policies, and so on.....
need for desktop app ... I am running multiple accounts and I am missing this functionality desperately. Slack is so much ahead in this domain (in others it sucks :) ).
PLEASE make a way for laptop users to switch between multiple accounts easily.
And we desperately need for desktop!
Hi Alex, not sure what you mean by "The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today." When I use Teams on my iPad, I still need to switch between different Teams instances to access. They are not shown in the one pane/instance.
Would like login into team with multiple accounts and join the meeting should popup which account to use and then allow user to join based on the account selected
Glad to see your working on it. It will help me a lot as I have different teams for different costumers!
The use case is very simple, We want teams client more like Outlook , user can add multiple mail accounts and working together , same way, we want Teams client can add multiple accounts in same GUI interface and working together, we can jump to each account and check msgs and other functions , not switch account.

I am currently working for 2 different educational departments for which I both have to use Teams in order to be able to schedule and teach. Please make this possible without signig out all the time! As a guest user for one account this was possible but now I need more functionalities.
Hello @Alex what is been done about having the ability to use multiple teams account in the desktop app? It would great to have it.
Our company wants to move from Slack to Teams, but this is a prerequisite.
fast switching is not working when you need to look at something in another account when you in a teams meeting and info you need is in another account since it terminates any active calls/mtg. Also there is no real notifications for alerts in for other accounts, i'm missing things in the other non active accounts. Why can you have a single pane of glass with all the accounts without switching back in forth.
Microsoft, Please do something!!!
MS, Please bump this to high need. We run a multi tenant environment because of china data laws.
With the new ban coming into place with wechatt we need a real global solution that is unified. Not switching between tenants etc.
We love teams and want to use that but our other tenant doesn't have the visibility to see all the chats, teams, etc without switching between the two multiple times a day.
Like other users have stated. We need a unified single pane of glass experience.
List the different chats or teams in different colors per tenant or add a prefix/suffix to them to denote what tenant/domain that thread is tide to.
This is urgently needed. You've had the user request and have been "working on it" for OVER 3 YEARS now (Mar 12, 2017).
Make this happen. Even if is a half way solution with updates in the future. roll out something to bridge the issue the user base is having. You will loose customers to slack and others that offer these features.

Unless I am missing something the solution on the phones still does not solve the problem, as you need to effectively context switch between the accounts to actually see/respond to messages. What we are asking for, and require, is a single pane of glass that allows us to see all our accounts Teams and contacts in one place without having to toggle between them.
The phone solution, functionally, is the same behavior as the "Guest" experience - which is downright terrible.
