I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

It appears that MS added this to the roadmap - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=68845
But it doesn't seem to cover actual multi-account login. It states "We're adding support within Teams desktop to be able to add one personal account, along with one work/school account", which still won't work when you're part of multiple businesses.
I agree with @Justin King that it would be great if this does away with organization switching (see https://twitter.com/rspruijt_edu/status/1324269668278874112)
The big problem is that I miss the calls from guests since i get no sound notification of the call, only later the message that i missed a call. This is not acceptable in 2020 with a focus on Teams

The way the support article is phrased is a little concerning ... as it mentions account switching, where this request is specifically for _simultaneous_ access.
We can already Org switch today, and the biggest problem with it is it efectly works like a new account, thus when people attempt to chat with me I will not see it until I return to the primary org.
I need to be able to see chats _regardless_ of what company I'm currently focused on. That can be accomplished by either allowing simultaneous logins, or a change to the org-switching feature so that chat remains a consistent ID regardless of which org you switch to.
Please dont lose sight of the original request. A simple account toggle may not work out.

I saw an article that this feature may be coming in December, is this true? Please update us.

Still working on it?
When I log out of one organisation and try to login to another, I can't leave the landing page on teams to login to the first. I need to be able to login to any organisation from one to another and both at the same time if need be

Cmon Microsoft, there are multiple NECESSARY features that are taking forever to implement, lets gooooooooooooooooooooooo. For a platform you are pushing as flagship, your development of features is shockingly slow.
That was always there @Avi - Your account was given guest access to an external organisation. What we are after is being able to switch between multiple accounts.
It seems the Desktop can Switch Accounts now...Is anyone else seeing this on Microsoft Teams Desktop?

Same as lots of others here, I'm now part of two organisations using Teams and would benefit from this being fixed as soon as possible. I see from the conversation history that multi-tenant working was complete in December last year and multi-account has been the priority since then. Please get this sorted!
P.s. I love teams, though. Nice job team.

I work in two companies and I have to log in several times a day. There are no problems on the smartphone ... but on the computer ... there is a problem

Is there any news on this?
Why can we still NOT use multiple accounts and email addresses. I work at 4 different schools and so cannot use this (other than on my phone) for the other 3 - this makes my quality of teaching poor for 3 out of the 4 schools. It is hardly rocket science surely to get this sorted ?
Such a fail Microsoft still hasn't incorporated this simple feature. When you are working on multiple projects and have different accounts, quickly switching between them is a must have. Especially if you have a meeting in 1 minute (try to log out and log in with 2FA under a minute).
Please add multiple accounts to desktop soon. Our university is switching to Teams from slack and I need the ability to interact with multiple accounts.
When most countries are working remotely, Teams' features development should be Microsoft's very top priority, and this one is both essential and easy to fix...
