I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time

I would like to heave this multi-team/tenant option within “MS Teams”, like in Slack. Currently I’m in four different organization. They’re using all office365, three of them now changed from Slack to Teams. I’ve to permanently login/logout to switch to the related MS Team. This is really time consuming.

We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly.
This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
SHARED CHANNELS ACROSS TEAMS

Please add support for shared channels which could be used in multiple teams. Suppose there is one company-wide team with multiple channels. It would be great if all teams within the company could include these channels or at least one of them in their own team. In that way you don’t have to recreate the channel for every team again.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
I think what's everybody wants is to uses multiple Teams account at the same time in the desktop app.
Like we can have multiple Emails accounts setup in the mail app.
as a consulting guy, I'm working with multiple companies (which all have Office 365). So I have to collaborate with them, and receive notifications etc...
There is 2 options:
able to connect multiple accounts (1 for each customer I have, as I have an account with each of them) at the same time in Teams
be able to connect my customer's Teams through my own Office 365 account (so the customer dont have to pay for a license on its side for me); like I can use my Skype For Business to do conference calls with my customers

More than logging in to multiple accounts, we need the ability to work with users outside the strict definition of a "team". Slack and Cisco Spark already do this well. Here's a user story: I'm employed by an organization and have an account with them. I need to collaborate with a lot of users OUTSIDE my organization in a simple manner, without the burden of having to create and manage multiple accounts.

I am a consulting agency and we use Office365 for our own needs. I have a client, that is also an Office365 customer. We're collaborating on a long-term project. 5 people from my agency will be working on this project, including me. My client has given me an account in their directory. The client wants to use Teams to manage the project. I'm the only person from my agency who can access Teams for this project, and we're still managing our out Team space for collaboration. The goal is that everyone that needs to can access the Team space for the project, using the desktop app, and with a single logon.

As an entrepreneur I work in numerous businesses, and have different email accounts for them. Subcontractors might have a similar situation. Every company I deal with needs to have its own Office tenant. As of now, I can't use Teams with all of them -- only one at a time.

I volunteer/work with two very different not for profit organisations that both use Office 365 subscriptions. Consequently I have two separate user accounts for these organisations.
Both utilise Teams and so I'd like to be able to be logged in via the Teams Desktop App in both accounts at the same time as I work for both organisations from home.

2. I'm currently not. Using Skype for business for one tenant, Teams for the other tenant so I can be online to both at the same time.
3. I'm a consultant who does development work with multiple teams that are both inside and outside of my organisation, who ideally would like to be available to all Teams I am involved with to assist when they need, and to be involved with conversations.

Temporary Fix: Use InPrivate (edge), Private (Firefox) or Incognito (chrome) and you can log into each o365 account without conflicting with the other browser windows. So you can be logged into all 4 at the same time and not have a problem. we do this when we test with multiple user account in the same tenant as well as multiple accounts across multiple tenamnts
We have the following use case, we have MS 365 for our employees, we also have consultant services which have their own MS 365 account, we cannot collaborate because it is two different account. Ultimately both parties have proper subscriptions with MS. So yes we are interested in adding people outside our own MS account

Upvoted, because this would be a really nice feature for us as well. There are cases when people from 2 different Teams needs to work together. If there would ba a shared channel between our teams, it would make work much easier.

Adding a reverse comment, we have clients that also use Office 365. While for most of what we're doing, we expect them to participate in a collaborative environment hosted in our tenant, if they like the product, I could see them implementing it in their tenant. Then, when they ask us to participate as a sponsor or collaborate in an area in which they're working, this would also allow us to view their Teams in which we'd participate with them.
Offering that kind of fluidity in collaboration would be extremely helpful.

I agree this would be a great feature. We use a contractor for sys admin functions, and he has an O365 account, but is rarely logged into it, because going back and forth is painful. If he could log in for us, and for our other clients, it would improve communication and collaboration.
Even better, would be if he could log in with his ONE business email address, and it would act as an alias to all participating tenants, and Teams would load all tenant teams in which he participates.
We work with many clients that require Teams to interact. We also use teams internally. This would be a great feature to greatly improve our communication between internal users and clients.
I work for several clients and each are using teams, and each is separate, It would be good to have different teams account within the app, in the same way multiple emails addresses work in outlook.

Agreed. We are at a customer site and expect to use both ours and their "Teams" instance. to increase speed of information this is critical. Also once signed in as the other company, I can no longer get back to my company. bug?
Agreed with comments below. Many uses have multiple businesses or have real need to be logged in to multiple tenants for business reasons. However this is accomplished (multiple concurrent logins, B2B connections), this is a critical feature.

Definitely and issue across the office 365 suite. Teams, Skype, the mobile groups app, onedrive (can't use multiple accounts on same tenant)
