I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.

I echo what others have said here. I use Teams for both my full time job, as well as the non-profit I run. Having the ability to have two accounts open at once would truly save time and strengthen the products usability for many people.
Really need this as a consultant because we use Teams at the customer and at the company I work for.
If there are some complicated issues to support signing in to multiple accounts at the same time, can't it be a workaround to let users install multiple isolated instances of Teams desktop client and let them sign in into each instance with a different account?
Yeah it's not an ideal solution but can be a temporary workaround...
I would try a different browser for each account. Chrome for this team, IE for another, and FF for that team.
Have 3 accounts - very difficult to keep up with all 3 with desktop app/browsers/etc. When will this be resolved? I miss Slack everyday and have discussed going back to Slack with 3 companies in question

I could care less about deep Planner integration since we manage all our work in VSTS; this feature, on the other hand, blocks us from being able to work easily in customers' tenants -- including their VSTS boards -- within Teams!
It would be even better if tabs could belong to different tenants within the same channel.

I think this is an important suggestion. I have a small company where I have Teams running, and I work full-time for a larger company where we use teams, and I have clients in my small company that separately use teams. In all of these cases I am a different account. The ability to have email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, etc. simultaneously logged in on the desktop and/or mobile would be a very nice addition.
Please bring in this feature. In today’s workplace many of us have multiple jobs and would make life so much easier.

Yes like it is already in the Administrator App.
This is a must have in the dynamic partner organizational relationships of today’s age. The B2B guest is a start but notifications don’t work right well not at all on the mobile client. If your out of the office and need to stay in constant contact teams is not an option with out this capability. That’s a shame as other products do this. I would prefer to see this before the full Skype calling feature set is mirrored 1-to-1. Especially if you mobile device is enrolled into InTune. You can’t even log out and into another organization that’s blocked. So you either need two or more devices or talk IT into allowing you to get away with an unmanaged device and good luck with that option.
This is crucial feature.

My Vote on this. Critical Functionality! We have multiple companies all migrating to Office 365. Not having the ability to have Teams from these is a serious drawback on effective communication, collaboration, and productivity.
Thanks though for all the work on Teams in the past year. Progress is through the roof ... hoping you will move onto collaboration between companies as the B2B is huge.
Putting my vote in on this one - SharePoint and OneDrive have an excellent 365 account switch ability now, so can this please be translated over to Teams as well?
Would make my switch away from Slack oh so much better, since multiple companies I work with are now in Teams.

I know you say that you're investigating this and there's "complicated issues" but if you want to compete with Slack this is a killer. They've had this feature from day one. Maybe instead of switching entirely in/out of accounts add the ability to add teams (from different tenants) under a "master account" similar to how you can open OneNote notebooks from several accounts without signing in/out.

It seems like the point of Teams is to be aware and part of conversations that are going on, but if I have to log out and log in, I am no longer in the loop. It defeats one of Team's basic promises.
Need to have notifications span all accounts so you know to go into Teams and read a conversation or whatever; clicking the notification should change the account as necessary

I agree. I work with multiple of my own companies and also multiple clients.
Guest access is one thing and one way to get cross tenant exposure, but I would really like Fast Account Switching, so I can switch tenants with a single click. It would also be nice, as mentioned elsewhere to get notifications across those multiple tenants so we can see where there is activity that needs my attention.
