I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.

Thank you for the update regarding multiple account support on mobile devices. Would this extend to a Chromebook? ie. Can I have multiple accounts logged in to the Teams app on a Chromebook? This way I can simulate a more desktop experience. Also, if I have a phone system plan with my O365 tenant run through Teams can I receive calls from both accounts on the same Chromebook Teams client?
I appreciate the insight and work.

someone said :
" Teams should be renamed to Microsoft Team - without 's' "

it's taking too much time.. 3 years..
I have a school account and a work account. Switching on Android is easy, but desktop and browser absolutely sucks. Teams has a lot of UI shortcomings. This one in particular is enormous and it's mind boggling to me that it exists on mobile device that AREN'T running Windows but several months later we still can't switch tenants on desktop Teams without signing out and signing in. /fail
In case you haven't noticed there is pressing world wide demand for this.

This issue needs to be resolved immediately.
I created a new Team and added a Guest.
My client struggles to get the notifications from this new Team.
The collaboration between different tenants is reduce, since there is no notifications if the user is not the the respective tenant team/site..
This is soooo braindead of Microsoft to even announce Teams as a finished product.
First, they announced Feature Parity to Skype SfB, which was a blant lie and we are still getting there:
Also Teams should be renamed to Microsoft Team - without 's'.... Switching to tenant gives you a different user-context but this shouldn't be in a single instance of teams.
I can't recommend teams for internals teams the same time as an external participant. Choose one role, for the other, take a different software instead of this... acquired product that is in development since nearly 13 years at Microsoft (Parlano).
Everyone here has the right to be very upset.
With that rate, how they "work" on it, it may take another year until this "feature" (more a fix for this buggy workaround that is in place) is ready....
This is why I urge all consultants to use Slack instead, Teams is not suiting our needs at all. And the communication about this HIGHLY DEMANDED FEATURE from Microsoft is almost non-existant.

This is a huge issue - progress is urgently needed because you are about to lose your window of opportunity. People need this now, and will go permanently to other platforms if they cannot have a solution with teams.
Can we get this done for real quick? I can't believe this is taking so long.

Can we have an update on this. I haven't seen the progression of any "stages" at all with regards to this.
And everyone's at home right now expecting us contractor IT people to magically be in all their tenancies at once looking for messages.

This is completely preventing several of my clients from using Teams. It is a total dealbreaker.
I have pushed so hard to get adoption but the lack of this option makes it impossible, since they remained signed in with their other profile and never see the messages I send them.
We can get messages from tons of different accounts on Outlook and other platforms, so this puts Teams out of commission for lots of projects.
Still crippled due to a lack of notifications for all orgs that you are signed into. Please fix your half-baked implementation. This is ridiculously bad.
Can we please get this already?? I do work for two companies and I have to log off one Teamsto check my messages on the other Teams

My work environment is all Mac. In the Iphone I have the two organizations I work for.

Add me to the pile. This puts Teams at a disadvantage to Slack. Please add this functionality (for Mac here)!
The switching would be less painful if it did not enforce the end of calls. Ever-so-often after ending a coordination call as guest of an external partner, I will call back the internal colleagues who also participated, to re-iterate on the meeting that just ended. But we cannot access the files and comments from the previous call, because it's in the other context.
