I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.
The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.

Now more than ever this functionality is required and it's absolutely shocking that after such a long period of time, something simple and requested by so many still isn't available.
Pull your fingers out and make the systems usable! I have client who I had sold on Teams and Business Voice now wanting to move to another solution purely because of this. They work with other organisations as guests and it's causing them a major hassle, they are missing phone calls all over when they are on another account.
Please sort this out otherwise you're going to lose customers over it.
Sooo... nearly 20000 users requesting this feature and still not implemented...
Seems like a major oversight on the part of Microsoft to allow this feature on the iOS app but not on their own desktop app.

Three years later... Still waiting.
I think this culture of not prioritizing high impact and quality of life features in Microsoft is a bit out of hand. Do we always have to wait for a PM to have enough vision to take up the fight for these kinds of things? Or can we just rely on Microsoft to know which things are causing the most pain in their products?
Sad, that is still "in progress"... this really is a must-have.
Crazy that a big behemoth of a company like Microsoft can't get this must-have feature working. This is precisely why Slack still beats out MS Teams in terms of functionality and product support.

6 months or more and work still progress? Guys we can't use your product, its awful
I am a freelancer with several customers and corresponding accounts and also use teams in the family. In iOS you can register multiple accounts and receive all messages or calls, which would also make sense for the desktop app.
If you want to spread Teams it is neccesarry, otherwise Zoom or other competitives have a reason to get used too

I got a work around for this, you may also use it. Kindly have a look of this info graphics.
This is a feature that needs to be implemented before I can even recommend Teams to my friends and family to take over from the other personal meeting programs - we already use Teams for our workplaces, and it shouldn't require a full logout in order to switch to a personal list of contacts and teams
This is a must-have feature. Ridicoulous this does not work.
Any update regarding the support for multiple accounts on desktop (Mac) ?
Thanks in advance,

Alex. Thanks for info. My challenge is Removing an old org account that i have left.
I have three Teams orgs on my Android, today only 2 are active. The newest is primary, 2nd is my personal tenant i yse for testing abd could also be removed. But that is my challenge. How do you remove an andriod account from your phone?
By the way switching accounts us easy, sign out/sign in. The user has to respect that two enterprise accounts should mi be active together for data protection or data leakages.

Try this: https://publicwi.fi/launcher/
A Finnish programmer made a launcher for running multiple Windows Teams clients.

I see this comment was posted in December 2019. Has this feature been fully implemented? I now have two different enterprise accounts @dia.dodiis.mil and @cvr.mil operating on a Mac. Look for an easy solution of switching back and forth. I have the desktop app and mobile app.
Hey Microsoft - Maybe instead of adding emojis and virtual backgrounds, you can add something that enterprises NEED. We need to be have multiple account notifications. Just make it work the same way Slack does. They got it right from the beginning.
I’m able to login 2 different companies’ teams accounts On my android phone. However when I’m staying on one of the company’s teams account, messages from the other account would not pop up as notifications. So unless I remember to switch to the other account I would be missing out all their messages. May I suggest to enable notifications pop up even though the account is not “logged in” / in focus?

I STILL CANNOT USE 2 Teams accounts simultaneously on Android.
Just one which I am selecting from the list
I'd love to be able to use Microsoft Teams family, but I use Teams for work so until this is available I'll be sticking with Apple Family
