I want to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time
LOG INTO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
We need the ability to sign in with multiple accounts. Many of us have several O365 accounts for various reasons (consulting, etc), and we’d need to be able to access teams directly. This is not a federation or B2B scenario, but a case where new O365 credentials have been created in another tenant for us. The app today only allows a single signed-in account at a time and that’s a blocker.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

I saw a "Switch Accounts" button, but it said that I cannot switch between two corporate accounts. Currently, it only allows you to switch between a corporate account and a personal account. I am a consultant and I need to switch between two corporate accounts, my company and my client.

In my situation I am even working with one client/employer, but I have two other contractors that are working with us and each one has their own Teams account. I have no way to easily switch from one to the other and I currently have 1 teams account but have been invited as a guest to the other 2 accounts and it's a pain to switch between them.

I am a document reviewer for multiple professional organizations. Mobile is not a working solution for me. Worse yet, I can now "switch orgs" from my client's Teams to my own, but cannot switch back, and the only access is to then restart the app. No way to retain the credentials to easily login again. Please catch up to this highly valuable capability offered in Slack.

This is not really what the Vote was for. The need for multiple work accounts is really what needed to be addressed. I work with many clients helping them and having the ability to have multiple team's accounts id beneficial. not 1 Personal, which is never used, and 1 work as this is not that helpful and misses the mark of what was in this request.

Please make it possible to be logged in with guest accounts at the same time.

The current solution (esp. its restraints) is VERY unfriendly to the gig-economy. Even dangerous when misunderstood, for example when a Teams invite from one client automatically opens with a different client's email announcing that "John Doe (from non-invited company) joined the meeting". This is a situation that harms every party: the consultant, the client and Microsoft.

This option is extremely necessary... for users with multiple accounts it is very urgent... it's getting to the point where you are forcing us to make decisions to move away from MS for this application... it is very difficult.

An improvement in the login option for the desktop version for teams on the Apple Mac would be great in something like the smartphone app that you can switch between you and back with one click. :)

How is this not being done for multiple work organizations. We have been remote from covid for a year and have a clear need for this if you want adoption of teams.
This is why I am forced to use Slack also as I need to be able to work across multiple orgs.
How is this in the ios app and not in the desktop app. Seems you have the ability to do this just are yet again slow to respond!

Teams will continue to be a useless product to me until I can use it with ALL of my Office 365 accounts at the same time.
And when I say ALL of them: I mean MORE THAN TWO!

When will functionality for adding multiple work accounts be rolled out? This feature is already available on the mobile app and has been around for quite a long time!

I see this feature is rolling out now. But "...and switch between accounts and orgs through Settings", seriously? This should be seamless without the need of switching anything. What we are asking for here is simply two instances of Teams running, but in the same Desktop app. Nothing more nothing less.
When you choose the first account in the left sidebar, you see all conversations for account 1, and send and answer messages with account number 1.
When you choose the second account in the left sidebar, you see all conversations for account 2, and you send and answer messages with account number 2.Are you even aware how people want to use your products Microsoft? With all the information you are scavenging from us you should do better.

I want to have multiple instances of MS Teams with the same account. I have to work on different things (let's say different projects) at the same time. There are some overlaps (Team members, required ressources etc). In order to organize my work better I started to use virtual desktops (finally Windows has this feature). It would be nice if I could have an instance of Teams on every desktop with the according team selected (and no, showing teams on all desktops is not a good solution)

I, too, run multiple e-mail accounts as consultant to various organisations. An I need to have multiple Teams accounts as well. It is imperative that this be available.

I have work accounts for the company I work at and for multiple clients so being able to log into multiple work accounts simultaneously is crucial. This appears to be a priority for many users and is a feature that has been supported by Slack for years.
