Remove the need to constantly log in
Something has changed, but over the past 2 weeks, each time I reboot, or even resume from sleep, I'm presented with the SSO/ADFS signin page within Teams. As most users don't even notice this, most remain perpetually logged out, defeating the purpose of Teams.

Teams needs an auto login at startup, like Skype4B.
PS: The web page 'keep me logged in' has never worked for me, ever.

BTW, check box "Keep me log in" does not help - does not matter if it is selected or not, system behaves the same (OSX 10.10.5)

Same here. It is also followed some time with the message "Someone has unplug Internet". Even if Internet connection is fine, Teams would not resume - I ned to log out and log in again.

I have not personally encountered this problem on OSX, but a number of coworkers (using Windows) have complained about this on occasion.

In case you haven't tried this yet: First log in, then log out. You should then end up at the generic login page, i.e. the page before you get redirected to your tenant. On this page, there's a checkbox to stay logged in.

My team has this same issue, it's frustrating to migrate from Slack which stored our login credentials to a platform that constantly requires logging in or we don't get messages.

hmmm.... I'm not having this issue with our current setup, logs in just fine! Starts up on boot just fine too

Same behaviour since MFA is turned on. Option to keep the answer for 60 days is not visible. So I asume it will ask for password every time I stat my computer again

Currently all of our users have to login after a reboot. In all other scenarios/applications our SSO/ADFS infrastructure seems to work just fine. Even if using the Teams Website Teams.microsoft.com the SSO works as expected, so it seems to be an issue of the Windows client.

Yeah, and i have to login every time I try to pull up a file someone shares with me. I'm the admin on the system so it's not a perms issue. But almost every time I go to open a file someone puts in a chat, I have to login.

I think this might be an administrator option (?) We don't seem to have this problem at all with our Teams/Office 365 subscription

Closing the teams window on mac closes the entire client and signs me out. Restarting signs me out. It should stay logged in unless I specifically tell it to sign me out.

I'm having this trouble too

Some like it, some hate it but we should at least have a setting to choose whether MS Teams starts automatically when we reboot our machine.

I'm having this trouble too. Other SSO apps such as MS OneDrive don't have this problem.
Also, when logging in to my PC after a reboot this app shouldn't pop up in my face all the time. Have it sit politely on the taskbar please, minimized until called. This app isn't the center of my universe, it's one of dozens that want my attention.

Yes, I've also noticed this. Making the use of this system as automatic as possible is key. having either AD passthrough or one of login is required.

Same here. We have MFA turned on. This seems to be a new change as I don't recall having this problem before.

I agree. This issue, along with not being notified of Channel activity, lead us to not adopt teams. It was infuriating that we had to constantly log in after an undetermined amount of time. Stop it, we should just log in once, and that's it.

I would prefer to login once and that's it, just like on Skype for Business. The inconsistency of login methods and requirements is terrible. Defeats the purpose of the application if after a few hours I won't receive notifications anymore because my login with ADFS timed out.
