Remove the need to constantly log in
Something has changed, but over the past 2 weeks, each time I reboot, or even resume from sleep, I'm presented with the SSO/ADFS signin page within Teams. As most users don't even notice this, most remain perpetually logged out, defeating the purpose of Teams.

This is something our organization struggles with too. You get signed out randomly without any indication until you open MS Teams and you're asked to signed in. Checking Keep me signed in does not help at all. This is very frustrating. I hope this is addressed sooner than later

Currently any user who has 2FA enabled in 365 has to enter their 2FA code or verify every day in Teams. Both on PC and mobile (to a lesser extent).
There needs to be an option similar to OWA to remember the 2FA for 60 days!

My team is impacted by this as well. Glad to see it's being worked on.

The Teams Desktop application signs me out so many times a day. I'm not sure if there is a setting for this but I've looked in the settings menu and couldn't find anything. I'm not sure what the auto-log out it set at but it seems like it's between 5-10 mins. Why can't this just leave me logged in like Outlook? I use it daily and every time I login and don't use it for 30 mins, for example, I come back to use it and it logged me out. This is really frustrating to see it logged me out and when I log back in, I find that it didn't save the theme that I selected. Every time I login, I have to set my theme back which is also very frustrating.

I don't need your protection, so please stop logging me out of the Android app

The desktop app of teams logs me out constantly. I get new message notifications on my phone, but then I have to log in manually to the desktop app almost on a daily basis and the app doesn't remember the credentials either.

And I would like to add that the first login always fails with error login timed-out

We're evaluating Teams and other groupware. We see it too.
This auto logout would be a fatal flaw for any groupware. Team members here are missing notifications, and don't even realise, because they got logged out silently.
But, I'm told that if you actively log out, then restart Teams there is a "remember me" checkbox which does the right thing.
Not the most elegant workaround, but when fresh onions are unavailable, dried onions will have to do.

If it helps, for me it happens only on office image (windows 7 with PULSE VPN enabled)

This is a no-brainer. Why does it sign you out in the first place? It seems like code was put in deliberately to sign you out. Backwards!

once i get logged out on my laptop, which is CONSTANTLY, the app just loses its mind on my phone, just spins and spins. once i log back in on my machine and restart the mobile side it works fine. this is getting old FAST.

This is a dealbreaker for me. Constantly logged out both on OS X and Windows.

This seems like a Microsoft thing now. I've noticed the same thing, but with many MS products not just Teams, it's just like them to always be in the way.

I received an update to the Mac client yesterday and ever since it constantly logs out and when I open up the agent fresh it opens in a minimized state (weird) and it is logged out asking me to login.
FYI - We use an identity provider to do SAML based logins...I'm not sure how this impacts authentication for our company.
