Remove the need to constantly log in
Something has changed, but over the past 2 weeks, each time I reboot, or even resume from sleep, I'm presented with the SSO/ADFS signin page within Teams. As most users don't even notice this, most remain perpetually logged out, defeating the purpose of Teams.

Does the fix include the Android app?

Yes that was so needed. I am now using the tool and not forgetting to log in ever time I was logged out.

hey.. so where do you post this for the Android version? I don't see any place for that. There is no Android update and it still does it.

So far, this appears to be fixed :) but the extension To Do List suffers this same issue, i.e. when I click on someone else's TODO list that's been added to a thread as an integration, it constantly forces me to sign in. Shouldn't it simply utilize my credentials from Teams, directly?

Hello Suphatra,
We just started using MS Teams about one week ago. On my system (Win7 x64, Office 365 2016) I need to log in to my Teams account after every reboot. Something seems to be wrong; my colleagues aren't affected by this. Same thing with the OneDrive account. Maybe these issues are related.
Kind regards

well it is not really fixed on a mac - it just cause other problems as the login screen still appears though it automatically logs in

It seems that it doesn't work for me ...
I work on Apple MAC version 1.0.00.7401
Each time I log in i have the same authentication windows
After redirection the window stays here, with blank content ... -

Yep, working now! Thx... Now the last issue.. Adding emails on Teams... I mean, when we use team I outlook, we should drag and drop mail received on our personal mailbox to the team mailbox...

My Win 10 never logs me out but my Android app does it frequently, at random times and without notice. This idiotic behavior does not happen with other Android messaging/chat/collaboration apps: Google Hangouts, Google Voice, Microsoft Skype, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, phone built-in SMS, Microsoft OneNote, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, etc.

end users are not using team due to this login issue. we get two prompts first one ms team once we enter our email we get forwarded to our sso portal, where i have to enter email and password again, no matter if the option to keep me signed in is on or off, pointless . hope ms get this in the fast lane. considering this was made globally available.

This is killing our collaboration. People don't know when they are logged out and are missing conversations. We have to call or text people to get them to log back in. Please hurry, this is awful.

I have auto-start configured. When computer starts, Teams always asks for my credentials (I have set it so that it should remember my credentials) and when I try to type my credentials, they won't work. Then I close the login screen and after that Teams starts with the credentials it remembers.

If i log out of the desktop app (Windows) the next time i try to login it always comes back telling me my session has timed out. This is really, really, really annoying. i then have to enter my creds again. the only way for it not to do that is for me to completely shut down the app. Please fix that bug. Make it work more like Skype.
thanks

Teams is hard to use because, unlike outlook, etc, I have to start it every time AND I have to log in to it every time...other chat clients are simpler.
can you make teams easier to get to?

This is a bug but no clue how to report it. Multiple times a week the Android app prompts for credentials.

I am a Mac user and Teams keeps logging me out every day, sometimes more than once a day. Same thing on my iPhone - I am tired of signing in... Even when I close the app I should be able to stay logged in. Thanks.

What is the timeline on this?

If you log out, then check the "Keep me signed in" (or like) box, then enter your email and password, Teams kept me signed in. Hope this helps some in the mean time!
