Remove the need to constantly log in
Something has changed, but over the past 2 weeks, each time I reboot, or even resume from sleep, I'm presented with the SSO/ADFS signin page within Teams. As most users don't even notice this, most remain perpetually logged out, defeating the purpose of Teams.

Running latest version on macOS Sierra using an ADFS + Office 365 subscription hybrid account. REALLY frustrating.

Could we get an update on this?
I use the mac with OSX and constantly have to sign back in. And even worse it logs you out without any warning or indication that it has.
My current workflow is email person I want to chat with to get them to look at teams and log back in.
Needless to say this is not an ideal workflow and largely defeats the purpose of teams.

From my experience it is Planner that is causing the login box to come up all the time. it seems to require login after a short time of inactivity. The Planner integration definitely needs work.

I log in, go to Google, do something, leave, go to the bathroom, return, I have to log on again. This is a recent problem. Please tell me how to fix this, in English, please. not computer jargon, as I am most definetely not a techie. Windows 10, upgraded from Windows 8.

This happens to me in iOS. Repeatedly throughout the day. On version 1.0.13 released 5/23/2017.

Seems to be better. I still get this on one of my win10 boxes. going to uninstall / reinstall and then pipe back here. Curious if others have noticed its better now.

If Facebook or Instagram or any social platform automatically logged me out as much as Teams does, they'd have 10 users, ok 5 at best

I believe this is caused by custom Office 365 login pages. Our users need to log out of teams, "X" out of the teams login screen to get the generic office 365 login screen, check the "keep me logged in" box, then enter their email, be redirected to the custom login page, and finally enter their password and sign into teams. This is the only way to have teams properly authenticate at my company.

As an anonymous poster mentioned below, while using Teams on Mac, I am experiencing CONSTANT login prompts. I'd say every 20 minutes. VERY FRUSTRATING. Why does it not stay logged in?

I'm both getting prompted to log in all the time—but also weirdly, the teams desktop app brings itself to the front of my screen when I'm working in another program and forces me to log in. (Mac)

Same here. Something changed recently. We often get stuck in login loops. The work around has been logout completely, the log back in. We use the sign out and login as different user link when this happens.
In fact I happened again for me tonight on iOS.

I've NEVER seen Teams start without the "There was a glitch..." message. Since Thursday, it's happening repeatedly throughout the day, and each time it does I'm being prompted to login again. Saw in the email update from the weekend about sending logs, couldn't find them. Tried Help menu, that just gave me a bot. Asked the bot, got unrelated answers the first time and the second time (with the question rephrased) an I don't know type answer with an offer to help with something completely unrelated.
Really hoping the Teams service can get out of CTP and into alpha testing by the end of this year, although with Slack and Gitter already release quality I don't see the point except maybe for OneNote integration.

I'm constantly being logged out of the Teams for Mac. Haven't tried the Windows one yet.

Every time my computer is unlocked, Teams has timed out and i need to fully enter my credentials again. The least that could be done is remember the username...it's extremely annoying to have to manually enter all credentials many times a day and i don't even think there are any considerable security benefits

This version is working fine for me. I'm not logging in to Teams constantly on my phone. Yay!
