Desktop notifications for Windows
Need to have notifications in the action centre on Windows 10 also preferably make the desktop client a UWP app (I understand it is not currently) for full integration of notifications and (hopefully) Cortana

Don't know why it was removed, but for a brief time a few months ago, the desktop icon on Win7 and 10 had a notification badge. Would love for that to be brought back.
I would prefer that I don't get a Windows notification for every addition or change to channel. There will be a lot of noise. Ideally, I would like a visual when I open the Team App to point me to the channels that have changes. Something like a color square next to the channel with the change, or it is highlighted. Something to tell me to take a look. It then disappears once I have reviewed the change.

Desktop version has problem with notifications (Mac and Windows). Sometimes we don't receive notifications about new comments on conversations..
Also, notifications on iPhone device don't work.
How can we follow a conversation if the teams doesn't notify well ?
The notifications on Mac OS are not quite well, would be a good idea to improve this... Maybe adding a counter in the doc icon indicating the number of updates.

Note, this should work in the browser interface on any platform...Windows, Mac, and Linux.

This is a pretty obvious feature and Skype for Web already has this working pretty well.
Notifications are dismal. The need improvement to compete with Slack
Desktop app does not show any indication of a missed notification. I see another thread talking about adding color.... a lot of color blind people find that impossible to notice. Please use Badges or Windows 10 notification popups or similar. It needs to be in your face when you've missed a chat!
I would have though this would be a standard thing..but apparently not!
So that you could show banners when the browser is hidden or minimized.
