Let us make the font size bigger (Zooming)
Make a way to make the font size in the application bigger.
The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!
Over two years ago this was marked as "partially done" and still Microsoft has not fixed this major accessibility issue that pretty much every other messaging app since the beginning of time has managed to figure out. For comfort and ease of reading, I need to be able to change the font size and color in my messages. The way it is now causes me a lot of pain. This is ridiculous and Microsoft should be ashamed.

I would like to see the ability to change the font size of the Teams overall display. On 4K screens the font is to large and I am not able to resize and use more of my dsiplay for other applications.
MS Updates has done it's usual and stuffed up a perfectly functioning app. Now can only run Teams in High Contrast as the default display has enlarged beyond use without any clear way of rectifying. If this has happened to you, go to Settings and change to High Contrast display. It will work and you may like the look but you will not be able to us the default display until MS wake up and sort out their current mess on Teams. I hate their updates. Always screws something up.

My font has gone enormous in Teams on iOS, I can’t make it smaller, means it is almost unusable

iOS font size in chat messages has been extra large with no way to adjust past couple of months. Doesn’t match font of anything else in the iOS app

On the pop out chat, please.
Also would prefer this being in global settings somewhere instead of zooming the borders/menus as well.
For the popout window this is an accessibility fail. Is this compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), probably not.
Also WCAG 2.0 recommends "text can be resized without assistive technology up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality"
some iphone users have huge font on ms teams

Universal design should be a priority. Its annoying that we have to explain this issue to Microsoft in 2020.
in skype you can change your font/size/colour
This currently used font is terrible when working with software development. There are severe problems to distinguish |, I and l (yes the two last symbols are different). I do not want to sit with the GUI and modify these things every time, when doing a permanent change would solve all my problems. Please fix ASAP Microsoft!

Even if you have to hide this in an "Advanced Configuration" panel (or even as as text setting in an .INI file!!) it would be a REAL HELP to have this feature.
I don't have a choice. My entire organization uses Teams, so I must as well. If a colleague at another company asked me if they should use this, I would say DEFINITELY NOT... and it's because of so many usability issues like THIS one!

This helps... but there are TWO problems:
1) Increasing the GUI size means it now steals even more screen real-estate. Why can't I tell the app I want the fonts sized up 140% without sizing up the GUI?
2) You forgot the pop-out chat window. I can at least read the contents of the main window. The pop out is useless to me because it's so tiny I cannot read it.
By the way, please don't reply with "oh, well, just adjust your font scaling in Windows." I'm a software developer, so I know that is sometimes an option. Unless you are forced to use some legacy applications that don't handle Windows font scaling correctly.... and I am.
So, PLEASE, just make the fonts more configurable in the Teams application!
