Let us make the font size bigger (Zooming)
Make a way to make the font size in the application bigger.
The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!

When I clicked on that link it says I didn't have the correct admin access. This is ridiculous. Adding zoom is a horrible idea as others have mentioned. You're a massive tech company and you're saying no one can change the font size? Come on now....
It is such a small font , SMH
You're kidding? Zooming the page size is your solution? Come on, this is ridiculous. Just change the CSS.
is there any option to increase font size for all channels/users as admin

This is just simply weird not to have as our users needing accessibility options say that this is available in Skype4Business.
We have dylexic users or others with impairments that I frankly feel terrible providing this as a word-around to.
Zooming is not an acceptable workaround for not being able to make the font larger. The correct response for this issue is allowing the user to set font size at small, medium, large.
Hey @warren zooming is fine for some cases but it also distorts the UI completely. Including making the wasteful sidebar even more space consuming. Simply having a capability of setting a font size to small, medium (default) and large, would enable people using smaller screens to fit more content, while still helping readability on a secondary screen etc.

@Warren, When can we expect Font customization in Teams chat? Note Fonts are needed in my line of work for a number of reasons (ex. to convey code in mono space) -no changing it every chat is a terrible option.

Outlook reply window changes the zoom feature doesn't work...How do you change it back?
Fix my money plus account so I can zoom the font size larger. Thank you
Zooming is NOT, I repeat, NOT NOT NOT changing font size. It's changing the whole UI.
This is asinine. This is a feature that has been available on even the most simple text editing software for literally decades.
This is an incredibly poor design choice.
This is incredibly controlling of your users. When did you turn into Apple?
This is completely unacceptable from a customer experience perspective.
Frankly, so many of the 500+ employees at my company are getting fed up with this poor engineering practice that we're going to be switching applications within the next 6 months.
I would LOVE to see the documentation that went into the design of this product and the reasons behind leaving out this critical piece of functionality.
Personally, I question the quality of the product and the engineering team behind it. This should have been part of the MVP, much less a product that's been out for well over a year.
This is just another variation on the limiting UI in Teams. Please work on improving user experiences overall. Too many short comings in this application with UI concerns.
My window is all messed up... my small font is larger then my medium font and my large font is HUGE!!!
I, however, copy/paste some of the information from SHAREPOINT, and it wont resize at all.
Zoom option missing entirely from the fat app - version - 1.1.00.28562 (64 - bit)
I want to be able to change the font size without zooming the whole UI. I believe we should be able to make the font bigger in the active Window, just like you would on say Microsoft Word, Visual Studio or even the Windows 10 mail app. All of these allow the font size to be increased independent of the UI. Scaling the whole UI feels like a hack.
I personally don't consider this idea to be done (or partially done) as there was a separate feature request relating to the UI zoom.
The zoom feature only worked for a couple of days....and has not worked for us since.

Thanks for implementing this feature!

+1 this is a necessary feature
Why does this say partially done? I cannot change the font size at all on my macbook.
