Webhook needs to support forced notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person"
Webhooks should have a property to force notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person". I have been using Slack webhooks for notifications out of our monitoring platform and can use "@" tags to make sure that the correct channels get the data and if the condition is severe, notify "@channel".

We’ve added this to the backlog. Please check back here for updates on this feature request.

Response from MS support is below. Don't get your hopes up but either ask family and friends to vote for this, or move to Slack.
-------------------
My request (several previous emails):I’m sorry but I find your [previous] response lacking. Saying there’s no ETA for this is not good enough. As I clearly stated in my previous email I need an reply giving a ballpark value of 1 week/1 month/3 months/6 months/1 year/never. Am I correct in assuming that given there’s no ETA that would put an estimate off the end of the 1 year scale?
If this isn’t even on the backlog of work for the team, then how long is the backlog? If the backlog is 3/6 months work then this is 6+ months away. This is the sort of response I’m looking for. Please don’t sugar coat it. Just be up front.
As it stands, surely this only leaves me with the option of moving to Slack which has this feature. Can you confirm this is your recommendation?

From MS Support:As ... previously stated there is no ETA on when this feature will be released. What this means is there is not a time frame we can provide you, nor is there any saying in if this feature will be considered for future release with the Office 365 product. The quickest and best route to go at this point would be reaching out directly to our developers at on the existing thread you sent to us at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/17153099-webhook-needs-to-support-forced-notification-a-la. If there are enough upvotes on this feature and our developers see this feature requested by enough customers, it will be available in a future update. However, we cannot guarantee this nor can we provide a time frame. Due to us being on the Office 365 technical support team and being purely a break/fix area of support, at this point there is no further information we have for you regarding this and we have reached the end of our support line. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for you or your business. For your convenience, I've included an Office 365 Roadmap below that lists updates that are currently planned for applicable subscribers.

I don't know who/how to poke people at MS to give an ETA on this. I did find this which I think is related. Nobody replying through.... :-(

Mention functionality in Webhooks please. I currently have to ask our customers to use Slack instead of MS Teams due to the limitation.
Thanks!!

We started yesterday with a test whether MS Teams would be suited to connect to our development pipeline, and evaluate if then MS Teams would be something we would want to use inside the company. Sad enough these plans all felt into the water today when we realized we couldn't mention people, channels or teams via a connector. Which is needed to fit in the intended development pipeline and functionality that is very common within Slack or Discord. I voted for this issue to be implemented, I doubt whether it would be soon because of the low amount of votes.
A per channel setup with different streams of information would be a configuration nightmare and something I want to avoid. -

I love how they rolled @mention into the "Notification" one. Then closed it as done, when they fixed notifications. Please implement this, it was promised to be rolled out in June of last year.

This is a feature that's preventing us from making the transition from Slack completely

We have a recurring automation job that uses a webhook to send notifications from our ticketing system to our Teams channel when a new ticket arrives, and we were hoping Microsoft was working on a way so we could mention specific people in that notification. We have a script to determine who should be notified primarily based on the ticket content and then have them be mentioned specifically in the new ticket notification. Apparently, they were not really working on that feature... -___-
