Webhook needs to support forced notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person"
Webhooks should have a property to force notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person". I have been using Slack webhooks for notifications out of our monitoring platform and can use "@" tags to make sure that the correct channels get the data and if the condition is severe, notify "@channel".
This feature request is now under review.
I’ll update this topic as we move through the decision process. Thank you for the suggestion.
This would be very nice!! Simple requirement, simple solution. Bots are too complex
Does Microsoft have an update on this? Thanks,

Well, how's it going?

Yes please! The "mention" feature needs a cross-product with all other applicable features, in order to be fully featured.
Lack of any update regarding this feature is ridiculous - we're switching to Slack!

March 2020 and still nothing

This is really the only thing keeping us on Slack.
Another vote for this feature!

1.5 years and nothing. Perfect. Glad we are transitioning from Slack to this flaming pile.
Basic things are missing. Trying to remake our integrations we have in Slack and have yet to find one I can actually setup due to the shortfalls on this platform.
No way to access the Praise options even through the MS Graph API.
Get some staff and get these sorted.

Come on guys, this feature needs to be here already.

2020 any news ????????????????????

How is this STILL not implemented? (1172 days and counting...) A feature "Under Review" for over 350 business days. Every one of your competitors has this basic feature. Even Flow -> Teams can do it.
They nailed the site name "uservoice" since that's 99.999% of everything here. Just users. Most of the frustration around all of these forums is the lack of responses. Even if it was to just say that it was still in Dev/QA then at least we don't feel like were shouting into a black void.

Has there been any movement on this? We really need this feature if we are going to move over from Slack to MSTeams.
I'd love to see this implemented soon too.

it's 2020 already and mentions via webhooks is not possible ???

That is baffling. My god even Chime has that functionality.
This like now...
If it helps anybody, after looking in to this and seeing it couldn't be done (still!?), a workaround for me was to change the channel notification settings to banner + feed for all new posts for relevant users in the channel. This eliminates the need to use the tag (if tagging the team).
