Notification for connectors
I am not getting any notification when a connector post to a channel. For example a JIRA post to a channel, I would like to get notified by this.
This is checked on Windows 10 Mobile app.
Its here! Thanks for all your patience on this feature as we worked out the kinks and got it out the door. Connector notifications are now live and there is no additional configuration you need to do to enable them. If you follow a channel, you should already be seeing notifications trigger for messages posted by connectors to those channels. If not, go ahead and follow a channel with a connector in it to see it in action. Please let us know if you run into an issues and we hope this helps your teams work more efficiently!
To get notifications for your connectors, just click on any channel that you want to follow and select the ellipses next to the channel name. Then choose “Follow channel”.
Please make sure you have your notifications setting set to actually GIVE you notifications! To do that, click on your avatar in the app bar, then select “Notifications” from the flyout menu.
If you have any questions, or experience any bugs/errors, please email Suphatra at email@example.com.

Not sure how this is different to chat, i think you misunderstood the last vote!?

This should absolutely be included in your next Sprint. As we look to transition from Slack, we must have the same (hopefully more) features. Notifications should be configurable and should be available on everything. Then let the user decide what to follow or subscribe to.

Why is this something we even have to vote for? This just needs to get done - now.
We had planned on dumping Slack this week, but this not working is holding it up.

I have no idea what a connector is

Connectors for VSTS build notifications and pull requests would be great!
I still think you should have the option of getting an email when something is posted to a channel. The user should be able to configure this in settings so they can either get an email or not.

I'm sorry, this is BS that this was not part of fix for Notifications for all messages in a channel (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16911520-notifications-for-all-messages-in-a-channel).

Seriously this shouldn't be differentiated from a chat message. If I'm subscribed to a channel, *anything* that causes it to highlight that I have a new message in it whilst in the interface should send me a notification.
Yes Need this please

We would like to use this internally in Microsoft tech support, bringing skilled people into a conversation for new support tickets as they arrive based on their current load.
Note there is a duplicate of this request here:

Critical for "Who failed the build?"
Since the sound alerts doesn't work when you have multiple sound devices and both my screens have more important things than Teams to show, the connector with alerts i've set up is pretty useless, and so becomes Microsoft Teams in general for us.
Moving from Teams to Slack looks more and more appealing.

I have been trying to figure out how to do this! We provide automated emergencing monitoring and were think of using teams as a secondary platform for managing panic situations. But without the ability to add a mention or mark something as important so that everyone in the team gets a notification its a bit nerfed.
The more I think about this, the more ridiculous this is.
If you set up a connector to feed into your team, why would you miss out the notification part and not enable mentions...?
That's like setting up the twitter connector and then having to regularly go into Twitter to check your timeline...
Slack can do this... ;)

Yes, we have an incoming web hook for support tickets. In Slack, we get a notification. With Teams we are not getting notifications on any devices. iPhone, Android, Mac, PC, or web based. We also don't get notifications when a tech posts in our Help Desk channel. But we do with Slack. If we were ever going to actually move over, these notification issues will have to be addressed.

It'd be useful if connectors, web hooks, could create mentions.
