Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
We are excited to announce large gallery view (7×7 videos) and Together mode are available to the public for desktop & mobile.
Large Gallery is an optional feature and can be turned on at any time during the meeting. The new large gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories.

Currently in a meeting, one can only see 4 video stream from the 4 users who last spoke.
It would be more convenient to be able to see the video streams from all the participants, and also have some the possibility to click on one of the participants name to have their video stream look bigger.
Actually any other idea that would allow the possibility to see all the participants will be appreciated.
Yes! This is a big desire for us. Maybe a solution where the user can choose whether or not to have more than 4 attendees shown?
Teams is limited to showing 4 video streams at a time, it would be better if we had some control over that. We do a morning standup every morning with 8 remotes, it would be great if we could see them at all times.

This needs to be taken care what if we have more then 4 people on call
I agree with the prior comments, especially around the design of Google Hangouts automatically enlarging whoever is speaking. Sometimes it gets out of hand if people aren't muted so it flashes too much so it would be nice to also have the ability to click on a participant and only see their video as mentioned.

We need also an option to be able to automatically show in big only the video of the person who is currently talking, i see no point to see in big size the other people. :) and this is more or less a generic approach also supported in Skype for Business.
This is CRUCIAL for virtual teams - and would be a big bonus for this app! We ask everybody turn on the video, so we can read facial expression (smiles go miles!) - yet I can't get all participants to show in a gallery view. Who came up with the number of 4 heads?? Who thinks that "talking" should make one visible?? Virtual collaboration suffers greatly. And please do not increase the #, but allow a true gallery where every participant is visible with their video.

Please this would be needed.
One of the feature we need to have for a complete switch to teams. Can you give a comment it it is planned or if you look at it?
The whole point of a video team call is so everyone can see everyone else, only 4 video feeds is ridiculous.
Yes, show more faces, and select who is visible.
We use this for team meetings, but we can only see 4 faces at a time. Other video chat apps (appear.in and google hangouts) can show more faces at once. It makes more people part of the conversation!
Also, it would be nice to be able to select which users to display and what position they appear on the screen
currently you can view 4 user when you start video call from group chat.
by some reason it would be more cool if this app can view all parties who join the video confrence
The default when you have multiple chat participants is to cut the screen in half but that meant remote participants couldn't see half the room. Would be great if we could resize the video windows so that we could see everyone.

Only up to 4 people can be seen at one time. All other video chat programs show all the participants video.

We just tried this today for our team meeting and this is a no go.. only 4 active videos.. Just like all the others before me, this just isnt acceptable.. Guess we will have to find another provider until you fix this

This strict limitation of 4 active videos only is a showstopper for our company. Please scale it up.

I agree with this suggestion. We have daily stand-up meetings and about half our team (5-6) video conference in while the others only participate via audio. It's unfortunate when the majority of my screen is taken up by small, static icons vs. showing the video participants more prominently. So it would be nice to be able to "pin" or select who's more visible on your screen. Also allowing more than 4 spots to show video would be nice, most of our meetings are always going to have a larger number of participants than that.
