Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.
Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

Alex & the Teams team

I agree with the comment below - moving away from Zoom to Teams for video calls has been difficult on account of the limits in viewing everyone. A large portion of our organization is remote, so this function is critical.
I've been trying to help move our organization away from Zoom and into Teams, but this is a real issue for departments/teams that have regular meetings and want to be able to see everyone (5-10) that are remote .

Another request, 4 is a too small a limit.
Who only has a team of four? Most department teams are 5-10 people for small to midsized companies. Please, extend the users to a more applicable amount. Other platforms are going to make you obsolete if you can't evolve.

Agreed, we use Zoom for this very reason even though we have a 365 subscription. Enhance this feature!

That is a very weird limitation. I don't understand why blurring the background was treated as a priority but not this.
Sheldon Kelly commented
This functionality is desperately needed.
Bob Dusek commented
agreed. Would like to configure the number of visible video streams.
Marcelo Suarez Melgarejo commented
Completely agreed on that. we cannot see anybody apart from UK team window

Please also fix the issue with video automatically cropping. When we have our board rooms on a call using Microsoft Teams Room and there is a third participant, the video is cropped so we only get a slice of the table instead of the whole picture.
The issue is documented here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/32816857-add-better-support-for-full-room-cameras

Our issue with this is that we need to be able to lock or select 1 or 2 videos to appear to all participants. Our company has employees with hearing impairment which require a sign language interpreter to repeat what the speakers are saying. Because the interpreter is in the same room as the host, his Mic has to be switched off, and then the Interpreter video is no longer available to see in the 4 quadrants as the active participants keep overtaking the active video quadrants on the screen. Being able to select who's video can appear would help us solve this issue.
Harrison Admin commented
I keep getting embarrassed by Teams. Every time I talk up a feature and convince someone to try it, I'm almost immediately confronted with a limitation that causes us to revert to a previous solution.
Even worse - when just 3 participants were connected, half of the screen (vertically) was taken up by one camera, which made for very odd room views.

Joining the chorus here! Would really help our team to be able to show more than 4 videos!
Please add option to add more than 4 active people on video conference call. We need this option for our organisation
Federico Espinoza commented
Please implement this enhancement request ASAP.

Please make the number of video streams visible configurable in the admin panel so each org can choose what’s best for their environment.
Prashant Patel commented
As same issue we are facing that only 4 video streams at a time. We need more user to join at a time with video steams.

Our company "WAS" beginning to migrate from Zoom to Teams when we realized this feature NOT available. Because of this our migration came to a screeching halt. You may want to consider making this a priority. Zoom Shows up to 24 (I think) on a page which is 6X4 and the ability to move between pages.
