Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
Based on recent feedback, we are accelerating our work to increase the number of participants shown in the main meeting window. Stay tuned for more updates. Thank you!
Thank you for doing this, but is there a timeline? If it's days or a couple weeks, I will stay with Teams for my students because we like the Office 365 integration. If it is many weeks or a couple months, teachers like myself will need to switch to Zoom.

Please have this ASAP. Why this is not a key priority..
is there away to select who is visible or is it automatic
Just did a council meeting and struggled when all councillors had to participate. 4 is an absurd number. We have to now look into zoom due to this.
Solid ETA would help prevent people migrating.. weeks months years?
Il faut voir plus que 4 personnes en même temps sur Teams - il faut avoir les mêmes possibilités que sur Zoom.

EXTREMELY disappointed this hasn't been rolled out in Team's. Only seeing 4 participants is a joke, I can see twice that from Group FaceTime on my iPhone. This needs to be done ASAP.

What kind of timeline should we expect? Days, weeks or months?

The department of Interior recently switched from the google platform to Microsoft365 and it has been SO DIFFICULT to have large virtual meetings and/or facilitate workshops. This is a huge failure of MS Teams. At this point, especially while TWing, we are need the ability to see more than 4 people. I would like MS Teams staff to sit in on a workshop about back country management planning for the National Park Service and observe the lack of functionality. I miss google!!
We love Teams but it is not good for team meetings when we can only see four participants. I can't believe you have been working on this for two years and still don't have it resolved. MS is way behind the power curve on this one. With what the country is going through right now and our staff working remotely for the first time, we have had to use Zoom instead of being able to stay in the Teams environment our staff has grown to love. I hope you will accelerate your fix to this issue.
When using teams it would be helpful if you could see more than just 4 people on the chat.
I see you have been working on this for two years already. That is unfortunately. This puts this platform far behind others in my option.
How can I see everyone in the chat. I only see the live feed of the person speaking?

Microsoft requires all users to migrate to the Teams platform. It does all types of campaigns, training, etc. for usability and tool migration.
Microsoft says it competes directly with major market players and is said to be the best platform.
However, they forgot a simple, logical and rational detail. Did you forget to develop a mosaic with more than 4 cameras?
You don't want to lose market share, do you? So please, get your developers to work day and night and make it available soon. The world today with all this crisis, needs good tools.
I read where this request was made in late 2018 / early 2019 and a Microsoft representative said in March 2019 they were "working on it". Its been a year and now with the COVID issue, we need more than 4 tiles in video conferencing more than ever. I think Microsoft needs to give a hard date? My company of 100 people is currently pushing to switch to Zoom. Once companies switch, good luck getting them back?

To state the obvious, this is a critical feature. We're using Teams for small meetings and Zoom for larger ones; it's a bit of a mess.

Zoom will show more than 4 people. The video windows are just smaller.

This is an important feature to allow large or small teams to collaborate effectively
No need to rush them … Microsoft has only been aware of this issue for 3.5 years now, and since they only have 151,000 employees, you can’t expect any miracles here …
This was needed back in November 2016 when this uservoice entry was created, I certainly hope it's being worked on but, but I think its more honest to say this is a long standing gap that still needs to be addressed - not "recent" feedback"

This needs to be done ASAP. Losing projects to Zoom. You need to shift all of your development resources to getting unlimited participant views. Don't phone this one in by only showing me 10 people. This is your time to take down your competition in this space. Don't screw this up.
