Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.
Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

Alex & the Teams team
I saw 5, but (only after the 5th person spoke). Later in the day, had a meeting with 9 but still didn't see everyone. Is there a setting I need to update? Or, do I need to send out a new link if it was set up as a recurring meeting several weeks ago?

Can we get it to work on google phones also?

This made so many people happy today. The extrovert on our team was basically crying happy tears.
Hello, Teams has come a long way in the past 12 -15 months and has enabled us to effectively to run our business remotely during the pandemic. I am the CIO for our Business Group, and based on continuous feedback from many of our employees, the most significant improvement you could make is to provide the ability to manage (hide or move) the Teams Control Bar. It blocks important information during screen sharing.
Can you please provide guidance about when this will launch in GCC?
Great! But not very stable yet. In today's meetings it could be 7 videos, then only two videos as a split-screen, then 7 again, then only one at "full screen", then all 7 again.
Another thing was in some meetings the microphone was very fuzzy for some participants. Different people. Never experienced it before today. Experienced lagging sound, but not fuzzy like it's compressed 99%
Edit: Today everything worked perfectly!
This is good BUT...Teams room systems are not showing them. When should we have that for a Team room system?
When will this be launched for GCC? We had to go to Zoom for our City Council meetings as we need at least 7

Good start, but the business is asking for more than 3x3. Until you get there, we have to support multiple video solutions.
You want to really stand out from your competition? Make the grid configurable. If I want 5 by 5 or 10 by 10 I should be able to do it no problem.
Could we allow for screen swipe to allow to see other 9 attendees is there are more than 9 in the session?
How long until it is available in the GCC?

(Did anyone actually received this prior today? Or was that only in the inner rings maybe...)
Anyhow, +1 on mobile! When?
And how do I continue to view the videos of all nine even though someone is sharing?! Use case: My team member is sharing for a larger audience and I as a manager want to see the reactions...
Thanks! Today was the first day I was in a meeting with more than 4 people. It looks great!
I like that when there are 5 or 8 people, some people are bigger than others. Could there be a way to choose who is bigger?
Could there be a way to pin one person half screen and have others on the other half screen (ex. for a sign language interpreter to be pinned, but still be able to see other people a bit bigger than the boxes along the bottom)?
Just something to consider.
Thanks for all your hard work with the updates and changes these last few months!
I agree with Leah Murphy's comment below. Our firm got the 9x9 upgrade this morning. Nice! But: Please do not stop with the 9x9 upgrade. That's a big improvement but Teams video is still way behind the capabilities of Zoom. It will be a hard sell, for us Teams promoters, to wean our people off Zoom if Teams Video continues to not offer similar features or better yet, even better features.

The new rollout of of the 3x3 is great! However, it is a bit annoying that anyone without video is always minimized - so far today it has been rather annoying to have to two huge video blocks and then need to look at the bottom to see who is talking without video. Can we keep the 3x3 regardless of who has video turned out?

Very exciting! The feature showed-up for us in the middle of a Communications team meeting! Very serendipitous!

We saw the 3x3 for the first time Friday at our Team meeting and it is FABULOUS (along with raise hand). THANK YOU
