Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
In addition to being available on Windows & Mac, we have released iOS 2×4 (mobile) and 3×3 (iPad), along with Large Gallery and Together Mode. You will see these options with the latest version from the app store. We are targeting availability for Android clients (mobile and tablet) this quarter as well.
You can read more about Large gallery view, Together mode, as well as other new meetings experiences here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/new-meeting-and-calling-experience-in-microsoft-teams/ba-p/1537581

@Alex with Teams Engineering: we need a timeline please, else it's not really an update.

We need to see all participants at the same time!
Please expand the video chat feature it would be very helpful for facilitating meetings with more than four people.

When will this feature come to teams....
Please don't force me to go to Zoom. In the COVID atmosphere, we have been pushed like never before to use digital tools. I love MS Teams and it is very user friendly, however I supervise 8 staff and to replicate the feeling that we are all there, we need to see everyone's face. Body language is a huge part of communication. I wish to conduct a true group meeting ant would prefer sticking with an MS product.. Thank you

Glad to hear it has been accelerated. Is there a time frame? My company is looking at other video conferencing options that do allow us to see more participants than 4 and I would prefer not to switch!
Zoom is a security disaster. Please make this happen soon!

While glad to see the work has accelerated, our boss has decided we need Zoom accounts so everyone can see each other. Should have been implemented a long time ago.

This is the only reason we have been using zoom during quarantine.

Microsoft finds the bandwidth to redesign icons for every minor MS Office update, and spends a fortune on marketing to get me to move from Skype to Teams, but so often fails to fix the *easy* things that would have such a big impact for so many businesses.
Just this week we may have lost the war between Zoom and Skype/Teams, for something Microsoft should have addressed years ago :(
Come on Microsoft! Stop telling businesses how we should use your products; make them usable for how we (your customers) want to use them. Our needs are more varied than you seem to acknowledge in the limited use cases you seem to design your solutions around.
Good lord, this thread, requesting the view of more than 4 videos at once, goes back to 2016!!! What a joke, Microsoft. So so sooo very disappointing!
Please add the picture of more than 4 participants on the screen

We need to see all participants at the same time--I think it is more akin to Zoom than Google hangout, but nonetheless, it is an important feature for teachers to keep track of student engagement.

The sooner the better as far as I am concerned. Please action!
Have switched to zoom pro already.
I agree! This would be a great feature to have, especially right now!

This has become extremely important considering Corona and the work from home situation. Please prioritize this work so it is available to users ASAP!
