Show video for all people in Video meeting
Currently when in a video chat it only shows the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat. On the bottom bar it shows icons for all those in the chat. If it could show small video for all those in the chat that have their cameras turned on it would be beneficial. Then everyone on the video conference can see the reactions of others, whether they were the last to speak or not.
This is a problem with most video chatting applications. Google Hangouts it the only one we have found that shows video of all the participants on the screen.
We are excited to announce large gallery view (7×7 videos) and Together mode are available to the public for desktop & mobile.
Large Gallery is an optional feature and can be turned on at any time during the meeting. The new large gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories.

Can you not make it like Zoom and be able to scroll through who is on and also choose the presenter and only see the presenter, so when recording you don’t get wasted space?

We should be able to choose large gallery view at the start of meeting itself as of now its available only if more than 10 participants video is on, Most of time we know we will be using large gallery view so if we can choose at start of the meeting itself it will help organizer, its waste of time to recheck if large gallery view is available when organizer is presenting also.
I am finding it extremely frustrating that I cannot see the two other people in my meeting. There are only three of us and at any given time I can only see the one speaking. Once the next person begins to speak, the POV moves to them, and when the first person begins to speak again, it jumps to them. This continues the entire meeting until the end. How and where do I change settings so that I can see both members of the meeting the entire time?
I can only see 25 of my 29 students. Is there something I need to do to see all of them up to the 49 stated?
I have noticed that when there are more than 9 people in a meeting but less than 9 of them are sharing video that it has reverted to splitting the screen into 9 and giving a tile to the 9 last people to speak, regardless of whether or not they are sharing video. This leaves lots of wasted space on the screen. It was better when the screen would automatically adjust so that those sharing video would fill the screen and those not sharing video appeared along the bottom. Will this be coming back as you iron out the teething problems?
I am wondering why the Large Gallery and Together mode have disappeared and are no longer options in my Teams meeting

I work with a company that uses almost exclusively Chromebooks for its hundreds of employees. When we have Teams Meetings, there is no gridview option. The gridview feature would allow our teams to be more effective in our roles.
7x7 is a great new feature. However it would be more friendly if we could swipe to view all participants when we are in the meeting with more than 49 people.
Strangely when you go from large view to gallery, the names of people get all blurry pixelated
I want to be able to pin more than one person to see multiple people in the class chat. I want it to work on a Chromebook, not just other devices as such.

Will it come to Linux?
Any news on when this is coming for Teams Room Systems?

Gallery view on Android 2×4 (mobile) is not new - I started using that long ago.

Is there a way to make the Hands Down feature automatic. That is, once the person who raised his hand has finished speaking, the Hands Up icon will automatically disappear.

We use large gallery and together mode. However, the meeting recording is only four people. How do we record either of these really great new views?
These new features are great! Well done team.
You urgently need to optimise for Microsoft Surface Pro X... The new meeting experience runs like a dog.
Is it just me or the video quality is pretty bad when you are using Large Gallery in Teams? No issues running 5x5 or 7x7 with Zoom.

Please support more video feeds (gallery view ) in the web version!
I can only see one person at a time during a video team meeting i.e. the person who is talking. How can I see more than one person at a time on my screen?
