Integrate fully with Planner, Sharepoint, and Outlook Tasks, Calendar
Please integrate more with Planner (hopefully soon with Kanban and timeline visualisation channels for tasks) and/or with sharepoint web parts that do this, so all tasks linked in one place. And Outlook as well (for calendar and emails pertinent to chats and tasks). Until then in effect Teams is yet just another tool to use that is not completely integrated for communication + coordination.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.
You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

I love all the microsoft tools, but the one thing that would connect everything, is the ability to set tasks, reminders in any of the apps, and link back to my calendar. This would fully give me the ability to plan all activities in one place... my calendar. Is this something that is being considered as part of this suggestion?

Another feature missing is the option to access personal planner in Teams. If a create a Planner in the the Planner App, I won't see it listed in the Teams Planner App, but I see all my task from that planner listed.

Outlook is the most usable part of the Microsoft 365 package. For example Excel is the most powerfull part
The Teams should be connecting people about that easily. So, please follow good things in Microsoft 365.

Hello everyone we built a tool that helps you plan your day and harmonizes tasks across all your tools including - Microsoft to do's, planner, Calendar, OneDrive, SharePoint, Asana, and more. Would love to get some feedback on our tool (send me a message if you would like to provide feedback) or visit www.vineforce.com

It would be great if you could have planners in one-on-one conversations or private channels too!

I agree with Scott! Such disappointment. This feature has massive potential, but now maybe 5% of the productive potential is unleashed.
Also an incresible amount of small issues left to resolve. X can be done via To Do, but not via Tasks in Teams. Y can be done in Tasks in Teams, but not via mobile version of Planner, renaming a plan in Planner Web doesn't rename the plan in Teams. In order to rename in Teams one needs to rename the Tab in the Team. And deletinga plan doesn't delete the Tab. I could go on forever.
If you can combine To Do, Tasks in Outlook, Planner etc into a seamless experience I will be amazing. But how to get buy-in internally, when people are frustrated for day 1. Really hard.

Omission of the My Day and Flagged Email lists are pretty huge. Flagged email in particular is one of the best features of To Do. Like others, I've been waiting a year to begin using Tasks in Teams. The day finally came when I found it released into our tenant and after 20 min of using it, I find myself back in the To Do app, mostly to access the flagged email list. I hope Flagged Email and My Day are released to Tasks in Teams VERY VERY soon.

Such a disappointment. I’ve found tons of really simple bugs in the past 24h that I’ve used this app.
I agree with Phill. How can this be the result after A YEAR OF WAITING!

I have been waiting and looking forward to this for this for so long as I use the To-Do app all day every day. It finally just appeared today and other than being extremely slow to refresh a list of 30-40 tasks I'm soooo disappointed that the two main views I use, "My Day" and "Flagged Email" aren't available!! So close and yet so far, maybe those views will be available in another year or two?

Please! The follow-up flags and Tasks in Outlook (and the integration of flags with OneNote) are my way of keeping track of everything. I know that I can save a message in Teams, but that doesn't provide the same functionality - in fact it just adds another place I need to keep track of, without a method of keeping everything organised.

In the roadmap it says the feauture has been launched, but I still don't have it in my tenant.
It would be good to have more transparency when it comes to WHEN features will become available. -

I'm in the same pinch as Jared. I've been postponing the implementation of other task management tools for almost a year. You don't stick to your own timelines!

I also still do not have this feature. How can I find out when this will arrive? I've been encouraging my team to move to Planner since January in preparation for this feature, and it's still not here...

This is still not rolled out to me. Why? There's no point of roadmaps and timelines if you cannot stick to your own deadlines.

When a user decides to connect Planner to Outlook, they go to the My Tasks view in Planner and click the ellipsis menu to reveal the choice to Add “My Tasks” to Outlook calendar. Click the button and then select Publish. Planner generates an iCalendar link. Now click Add to Outlook.
