Integrate fully with Planner, Sharepoint, and Outlook Tasks, Calendar
Please integrate more with Planner (hopefully soon with Kanban and timeline visualisation channels for tasks) and/or with sharepoint web parts that do this, so all tasks linked in one place. And Outlook as well (for calendar and emails pertinent to chats and tasks). Until then in effect Teams is yet just another tool to use that is not completely integrated for communication + coordination.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

SharePoint definitely--and not just a document library. A use case: our project manager syncs the Project task list to a Task list in the underlying Teams SharePoint site. I have to either "Open in SharePoint", or add a Website tab (which has sign in issues) to get at it. It's the same with any other SharePoint tools I want to leverage like surveys.

Please integrated MS Tasks (Planner) in Office 365 fully in Teams so I can reuse Plans in Teams and pin them to different teams.
Currently I am only able to create new plans which is ok but not great

I am not sure, if Planner could be integrated into Outlook Calendar, but it really would be a great help to have the possibility sorting the Tasks in an plan oder a bucket within a timeline

Yes, but only if we simplify "Tasks" in the Microsoft ecosystem.
Outlook Tasks, SharePoint Tasks, Project, Wunderlist, OneNote, Planner... it's too many tasks. Planner seems like the way forward. Integrate it into everything and allow for Teams conversations around tasks/projects. This would be key!
Even better yet would be if Office 365 Groups emails could integrate with Planner and Teams at the same time so that O365Groups email could function as a sort of ticketing system off Planner tasks while Teams would allow internal conversations around the projects... seems like the ultimate collaboration/productivity tool.

I think Bruce Fyfe's comment is spot on - Teams has the potential to be a user's "single pane of glass" - as a mission statement this would be a very powerful tool and give the opposition a real head ache!

Yes I agree with all the other comments here. I have a sneaking suspicion this could be the end game for microsoft also but they have a LOT of work to do first.

Teams has the potential to be my "single pane of glass" for communication and collaboration. I find myself switching too often between Outlook and Teams. However, I don just want my Outlook inbox in Teams, that defeats the purpose. I often tag emails with a to-do task if I want to follow up. It would be helpful to have access to Outlook Tasks in Teams so I have visibility into that side. Also it would be great to be able to convert an email chain to a Teams conversation/chat and perhaps vice versa.

Being able to assign myself tasks easily in Teams would be nice (like within OneNote). It would also be nice to be able to schedule Team meetings (including recurring meetings) in Outlook's calendar, similar to what you can do with Skype in Outlook.

- Should be able to create Tasks in Outlook/Planner/etc and assign to a Team. Should then be able to see these under a Channel and/or in a Tab
- Should be able to include a link to Sharepoint in a Chat - this should show under the Files Tab as a Link. Note: Link should open in Sharepoint using default Webapp or Client
- Team/Channel Calendar should be available in both Teams and Outlook

Throwing my own support behind this as well. If I make Tasks for one of my groups in teams, it would be nice if these same tasks could be integrated with outlook.
Similarly, if those tasks are updated in some form inside Outlook, it would be nice to have it update in Planner and thus teams.
Otherwise, we're constantly stuck doing double work updating 2 products at once.

i concur - massive functional GAP between items.
No calendarPlanner in Teams doesn't even look the same when you open up planner directly - no details or reporting; this has caused confusion.
Sharepoint cannot link to a specific folder or even library - only the default document library is possible when adding
