Skype integration (Consumer Federation)
It would be nice to integrate public Skype (not Skype for Business) into Teams. I am able to chat with Skype for business users within my organization but when working with external clients I still have to go back to public Skype. If I could even just simply chat and call with Skype users as well that would allow me to use Teams as my sole communication platform.
Admins can now enable their tenant to allow Teams users to chat with and call Skype users by using their email address and vice versa.

Please fix this. Skype for Business was so much easier than teams that way. Now here we are and I want to make a video call and have to figure out how to reload the "free" version of skype to not mess anything up. Very frustrating.

This seems as if Microsoft is trying to force people to use Microsoft Teams.
But in the real World it is forcing companies who have adopted teams to dictate to customers how they should use their information technology.
I do not want to tell my clients they have to go use the free version of MS Chat if they want to do business with me.

This is so bad! How am I supposed to keep in touch with our external contacts now.
MS have forced smaller companies to give up Skype for business. This really harms our business!
How can you turn off skype for business before you have a functioning Teams?
We are forced to use external chats, who know maybe we will stick to that when MS is not listening what the users wants!

The same with me. As a translator I work with agencies across the world, and so far none of my clients use S4B. Litterally all of them use public Skype. If I demand them to switch over to S4B I will loose them. This means I will have to use public Skype, and as the only one in my organization I have absolutely no use of Teams what so ever. Will I be forced to start using Facebook Messenger instead? That would be a shame since I love Teams and all the abilities I have there.
This should be a no brainer. Does Microsoft not want us to use their products to communicate? When I am at home and need to communicate with others at work, this is necessary.
The ability to chat between teams, Skype for Business, and Skype for Consumers is required in the Business field.

Since the migration to Microsoft Teams, HR department are always complaining with IT department because they can't do interviews with candidates that uses personal skype accounts.
Thank you for skype integration develop.
This is an absolutely REQUIRED feature. We have been using Skype for Business to talk with clients who are using normal Skype, if this ability is stripped from Teams, then this will thrash much of the usefulness of Teams for us.

Is there a realease date for the feature?
Our company is looking to get a proper communications setup,
but without this feature Teams is utterly useless.
