More status options, custom status, and Out of Office
I like the status options in S4B, and so does my boss. It will be important to my boss before accepting the use of MS Teams widely to have a broader range of statuses. Missing statuses are:
* In a meeting
* In a conference call
* In a call
* Be right back
* Off Work
Particularly of importance are "Be right back" and "off work". "Do not disturb" is probably sufficient for "in a meeting", "in a call" and "presenting". But, it sure is nice that S4B auto-detects those three statuses (for the most part).
Would like to create a custom status option, such as an out-of-office message.

Including whether you are in the office or remote would be key.

Working Off Site or Remote would be helpful as well -
Being in Healthcare we move from clinic to clinic most times

It would be great to be able to customize status options to what works for our business. Options would include WFH Available, WFH Unavailable, In Office Available, In Office Unavailable, Job Site Available, Job Site Unavailable.
Simply synchronizing the "Working Elsewhere" status would be a huge help for our organization.
Any update here please? +1 for WFH presence status and customised presence statuses.
In the interim, can anyone advise any other work-arounds to provide a dashboard view (or similar) for their individuals' presence and status message? Instead of having to click 2 buttons to go to the manage teams view.

Ideally, allow Teams admins to configure status settings and colors that are accessible by all users. Would love to be able to have something like, "Available (On Campus)" Green and "Available (Off Campus)" Blue, but I imagine each office's needs will be different.
This would be a great addition for the current work environment
Would love to see this up and running!
Guys, there is no feedback since 2018. I don't think Warren or any other "community manager" will reply to this.
Our corporate overlords don't like the feature, so no implementation.

Could we have an "At Lunch" option also?
I see most of these already
In a meeting is triggered by Outlook meetings; In a call triggers I think if you are, er, in a call.
I see 'be right back', 'appear away', and there's a custom status message that you can have displayed when people message you, and clear out after a specified time period. I'm not sure how long these have all been there, but I feel like it's a fair while. So I don't know what kind of update everyone still needs, but I think this is basically done.

Any update on this?
I really need the ability to create and save a custom status message - bonus points if there's an option to block notifications from everyone during that time. I do admin work and see clients and when I'm with a client I need to be able to reflect that in my status - just using "Away" or "Do Not Disturb" doesn't actually communicate this to my team.
+1 for a WFH status

Don't forget - *At home office
Please prioritise this, it's super-annoying to us users when we lose functionality we used to have (in skype, for example)
I wish the statuses would be automatic, like I would like, during my lunch breaks that my status changes to Busy, out of office, leaving just a red circle in my status, letting people know that I'M ACTUALLY not available during my LUNCH ... duh ...
Custom statuses are really important as more people move to remote/flexible schedules. I use my slack status as a general communicator for when im available. People will have a hard time knowing and anticipating when i will be available without this.
It has been 2 years, why had this still not been worked on?
any move up the backlog from 2 years ago?
