Teams Meeting in Outlook
It would be nice to be able to create a Teams meeting directly in Outlook similar to what Skype for Business does now.

This is done! Read all about it on our blog: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams-Blog/Now-available-Outlook-add-in-to-schedule-meetings-in-Microsoft/ba-p/71157
If you have any problems with this feature, email me directly at sparavi @ Microsoft.com.
Thanks,
Suphatra

There is a bug with this add-in, it keeps an exclusive lock on any messages opened while it is active (even once they are closed), until the add-in is disabled.

So i know that this functionality now exists, but it is not displaying in my COM Add-Ins. There seems to be a bug as it is not displaying as an option in Outlook

I think you have to open your team calender and select the date and time, end then push the button Teams Meeting.
Or select your own calender and invite the team Office 365 group. -

Note that it still only works in your own organization though since this issue has been delayed. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16911109-external-access-and-federation

I have heard this should be coming out this week, but have not seen it. Is there anything we need to do enable?

I see the same as Andreas, notes say there is a plugin, but no plugin to be found.

The add-in was in Outlook for me for a while but it's gone now, it is listed in the release notes though (the bot ones not the site ones for some reason).
However it wasn't working for me, it just got disabled with the warning "This add-in caused Outlook to start slowly."
From the release notes:
Fun with Outlook: Teams will now integrate with Outlook in new and interesting ways thanks to the Outlook plug in. When you head to your Outlook calendar, you'll see a button labeled New Teams Meeting. Click on it, and you'll be able to schedule a Teams meeting from Outlook. You'll also have the ability to update, cancel, or forward Teams meetings from Outlook. All your meetings in Teams will show up in your Outlook calendar (and vice versa), and you'll be able to join your meeting from either app. (As of right now, the Outlook plugin is only available for Windows users. But don't worry! Support for Mac is coming soon.)

Related to outlook integration, having the join meeting when a reminder pops like we have with skype for business meetings would be great too.

So we can join from Outlook, but I also need the option to create a team meeting from inside out look. I would also like a way to disable Skype for Business to remove internal issues as we move to teams.

It works in most instances but there is a massive delay for people receiving outlook invites, and in some instances, they don't receive it at all.

This COM admin is still being disabled for me in Outlook. Is this being looked into please?

There was an Outlook add-in for team integration but it seems like it has been removed (at least for me).

The updates to the meeting scheduler in Teams is a good start, but now it needs the direct integration in to Outlook, to allow a user to schedule an online meeting with Teams instead of Skype. Please update for me asap so I can use Teams at all times!

I would very much love to get rid of Skype. I second this suggestion!

Yes please and then I can remove skype from machine.

This is definitely needed, and also the ability to create private Team meetings from Outlook (i.e. not associated with a channel)
