Integration for Microsoft Project
Enable integration with Microsoft Project to see a project timeline, work breakdown, schedule, and dependencies. Additionally, teams could provide notifications to members about dates in the project.
The team is still reviewing this item. I hope to know of a decision soon.
Under review for 3 years?
Last update from MS was 2 years ago?
Is this feature still under review?
As part of the integration allow program, portfolio and project schedules to be displayed in teams , include some dashboard functionality as a reporting tool for projects managed in MS project and teams
With the addition of Microsoft Project Web to O365, Microsoft is almost there. I can associate my Team's O365 group as the security group for the project, and then create a website tab to display it, but it would be much nicer if there was direct app integration to add a Project tab.
A Most Needed Integration for overall success of Microsoft Teams and Office 365 productivity suite !!!
It is absolutely incredible that there are posts on here discussing MICROSOFT Project integration with MICROSOFT Teams since January 3, 2017. I cannot understand for the life of me why this has not been upgraded. You developed Project. There is no reason to rework something that is already working. Planner is insufficient. Project needs to be integrated immediately.

suggest we should discontinue MS Project, and move the resource to Planner,
since there is other request to ask for Gannt Chart @ planner
and it's time to move on from MS Project
P.S. Trello and Slack are very good tool

This is a critical missing piece from moving Teams to be real team software.

This simple, common sense, incredibly useful concept has been requested since 2016, and yet is STILL not available. MS is trying to make Teams the centerpiece of people's workflow, yet all we have is Planner to do project management. So, if you want something more complex than a glorified shopping list (dependencies between tasks, for example), you're out of luck. If you want to see all your tasks due across projects, over the next week or so, you're out of luck. If you just want to consolidate your workflow into a single place, with one company, you're out of luck. Meanwhile, new project management tools seem to pop up every day. We're using one of them, and it's pretty good. But wouldn't it be nice if we could actually have that same information available from the same people that sell us our primary workflow tool, Teams. What an original idea... Oh, wait... 2016. Sigh...
Cannot understand why this hasn't been implemented yet! Why any different than other existing MS Office apps like Word, Excel, etc.?? This seems like a key implementation to have for any project or any team operating on a schedule (aren't they all?)
I am unable to find the project app under apps section in microsoft teams.
Probably one of the biggest item needs in all of Teams is integration between the two programs. Underlying code cannot be much different compared to other office programs to include support. Sounds like low hanging fruit and an easy win...

Is integration for MS Project in the Q4 2020 development plan? Extract from Microsoft 365 Roadmap:
Project and Roadmap app in Microsoft Teams
The Project and Roadmap app in Microsoft Teams makes it easy to track, manage, and collaborate on all aspects of a team project in one place.

Ideally, I would like to assign tasks in MS Project, and have recipients see and update their tasks in MS Teams.
We really need a new operating system and suite of office management applications. Microsoft continues to not support their products or provide durable functional applications. I hope people will stop using microsoft products.

I am also looking to integrate MS Project with Teams. Is there an update on this? Willing to test beta.
My "Project Manager Dream Platform" = Teams Channels/Posts + Whiteboard + PWA Issues List + PWA Risks List + Project Professional Scheduling + Team OneNote Notebook
All of this should be accessible by all team members from within Microsoft Teams.
Is there still someone working on this Topic or at least reviewing the comments below?
I know, that MS is busy with all kind of stuff, but at least an update for all of us would be nice!
Once again, a huge miss by Microsoft not supporting their own products. C'mon guys, seriously. When will the integration be there?
It's been two years since the last update....surely something has happened since then.
Can you provide any sort of eta on this critical item.
