Sort conversations so the latest posts are at the top rather than bottom
Messages currently come in with latest content at the bottom of the page. Would be good to be able to re-sort so the conversations with the most recent traffic are at the top. Also, move the "Start a new conversation" to the top so that its clear you're adding a new conversation and not responding to a prior thread (we have a lot of newbies who don't use the "reply" because the compose bar is on the bottom, and thus end up creating a bunch of new threads accidentally).
Conversations in Groups starts at the top and forces old ones down the page. Conversations in Teams starts at the bottom and forces old ones up the page. Recommend you standardize on one method please. Confusing UX if you move between them.
Hi everyone, thanks so much for this request.
We have thought this through and decided to prioritize other user-requested items, so this one has been declined. But please don’t stop telling us what you want, because we’re still working to get many of those done. We’re listening and appreciate your support and patience.

This issue needs to be re-opened. Maybe in October of 2018 this was not considered a priority but it needs to be.
This ability should be a standard function, the fact that it is not is scary!!
Make it a user choice. I always want to see the latest convo at the top as in Yammer!
On first sight, it's not visible what is the latest update. Scrolling is very slow and inefficient and goes in batches. Sometimes I think I'm on the bottom and I'm not!
The conversation should be swift and easy. That Teams behaviour gives lots of negative points to my user experience.
scrolling is an inefficient technique for navigation. The longer the list, the longer the scroll takes. Time and $ adds up each day. The sort in Conversations should clearly be a user preference and not decided by program designer. Absent that, single button "Go To Last Post".
Once again Microsoft fails to make the correct decision. When input from the users to implement a simple change is "DECLINED" continues to show Microsoft's disdain of its users. When you have a conversation that have hundreds of inputs over weeks/months require the user to "scroll for days" to get to the newest posts is highly inefficient. I almost understand their logic that Microsoft wants to experience the conversation as it occurs, however sometimes you just need to see the last X inputs. Having a simple button or link to resort the conversation allows users to get tot the info they need.
It is baffling to not put the most recent chats at the top. Every interface does that. It's what we expect. It is quite difficult to find the most recent chat if you have many contacts.

I find it hilarious that this site posts the newest content at the top but this request is denied. This is basic functionality that should not need to be requested.
seriously - this is super annoying and inefficient and is contributing to lack of adoption and the recommendation from our teams that we stop using MS teams.
I've missed conversations due to the sort order as last conversation on the bottom. Please reconsider making this a priority.

I still would like this on your Priority Listing.
Makes sense to have the latest at the top ... Muck like Twitter, FB, Insta etc.
Some conversations go for some time and having to pan down is painful and time consuming.

doesn't make sense to decline this request Microsoft.. :-|
Yeah, I really wonder, how you convinced yourself that not having an option to sort is better than to have it

Declined? Seriously? How much time it would take you to put this to work? 1 day?
There're 230 people who are actively requesting you this and many more who probably would like have that option too and you decline it?

Why do you keep making products that are almost awesome, and then deny your users the basic functionality they want? This is consistent across almost every one of these Office 365 online tools. They almost do everything you need except for 1 thing that is super annoying and makes them unusable. Your customers have asked for this for years. Please make this happen, so we can all enjoy using your products. Thank you.

Very inefficient having to scroll to the bottom to see the most recent post.

Inability to change the posting order from oldest to newest makes the software far less useful for me. Think you should re-consider.
Also can't believe there is not this option and the need is not clear to the developers
This is a necessary change that is creating confusion in our organization. Please reconsider and implement quickly.
This decision to decline this request (and declined with a smile) is utterly absurd.
