Include notifications based on keywords.
We need to get notifications based on keywords. For example: I am a subject matter expert for SAP and I like to know when SAP is typed into a channel so I can offer assistance.

This feature remains under review.

Crucial to be able to monitor all channels for certain discussions or getting heads-up

This really should be a key feature for MS Teams.
Slack, RocketChat ... you name it, already have it.And this is vital for keeping an overview over all channels.

I miss out on so many conversations that I could help with or messages that directly impact my work because this feature is missing.

My team is sticking with slack until this feature is enabled. I like many of the features in teams but keyword notification is an essential part of how we communciate on our chat platforms.
Just another vote that we need this.

This has been brought up in multiple channels for users asking if this can be done in Teams.

Tem alguma previsão de quando será feito essa atualização?

This feature is so important.
Notifications overkill is what prevents Teams from being used widely. -

Similar to the alert me feature in SharePoint but a bit more granular. for example in the construction industry perhaps hazard or safety would be flagged and when typed could notify management or Safety personnel for immediate response to the concern.

Is this shortcoming being addressed?

This is a significant weakness since out conversion from Slack

We moved from Slack to Teams and losing this feature was a major downgrade. Please make this feature a priority.

Our staff would also benefit greatly from this service. Please reconsider moving it back to priority.

I also highly request this, Slack was our old platform and this was a game changer, being able to spot specific issues or topics is VERY IMPORTANT. Please re-prioritize

This is a feature which our teams use on Slack. if this feature isn't possible on Microsoft teams, it could cause us a problem transferring to the new system

Is this due to become a priority again soon?

This should be a higher priority. My Team is asking to go back to Slack

Current notification options are virtually useless: Drink from a firehose of all channel activity, or go thirsty receiving none at all.

We have pull request and merge notifications written to a channel in Teams. However, in our org they all go to the same channel, so I'd like to be able to trigger notifications when my repositories have PRs for review or branches are merged, and ignore the projects I don't care about.

Custom notifications based on keywords are also helpful when we want to ping a specific team without pinging everyone that is in their Team/channels.
Right now, to ping our Core Engineering team, someone has to @General in the Core Eng's Team. This results in a lot of noise for someone just idling in their Team. Instead, we'd like to be able to do @core or something to only ping them, and save channel wide pings for more global announcements.

Hi Warren, when will this become a priority again? We have a lot of use-cases within our organisation for this feature to be implemented, and it would be great to have some clarity on timelines for when this is going to be actively worked on as a priority.
