Relax browser support check
The current browser support check is too pessimistic and prevents some modern browsers from loading Microsoft Teams. For example, up-to-date Chrome on Ubuntu Linux is not considered a supported browser, even though changing the User-Agent string to Chrome on Windows allows Teams to load without any problems.
Please consider a) just letting the browser try to load Teams, b) using feature detection instead of the User-Agent string, or c) blacklisting known broken browsers instead of whitelisting if the User-Agent string is used.
This is still under review by the feature team. No new details yet.
+1 for feature detection please, rather than user agent breaking, very retrograde :(
Please support Vivaldi, as asked in many previous comments.
It would be great to support vivaldi browser on linux - there's no app there

I would like to use Microsoft Teams in Vivaldi browser, please.
The experience here SUCKS. I get the "Browser Unsupported" page when following a link in email, so I can't view the resource. Then I copy the link and try to paste into the desktop app. THAT doesn't work either. I'm using an updated variant of Chromium (Vivaldi) that SHOULD load the site -- just let it work!
Need allow Vivaldi Browser ! Chrome based and changing UA works very well. No problems.
It would be much appreciated if I could use your product without having mask the Vivaldi user agent. There is really no good reason to prevent it accessing your software. Why not do it like other websites and just put a “warning” and a button to “continue at your own risk”?
vivaldi support, please!
needs vivaldi browser support
This is just plain lazy.
Microsoft does not care about loss of profits from this?
Do you understand that stuff like this turns people away from you?
Pride comes before the fall Microsoft
Your " we are big we dont care" mantra is going to be your undoing.
Browser detection is still being done via the User Agent string for Teams.
Microsoft recommends that developers do not do this - so why are you still doing it for your own applications.
This has been an open item on UserVoice for nearly three years, while Microsoft have recommended not doing browser detection this way for the better part of a decade.
This is hampering adoption, reducing accessibility and makes the implementation of Teams look far less professional than it should.
Please update this item, and prioritise implementation of a fix.

it should go without saying, but Vivaldi already... or multi-monitor support. honestly I feel like both isn't a hard ask but I'll take either one at this point.
Need support for Vivaldi browser
Had to resort to user agent spoofing to get it working on Vivaldi, which is absurd.
I typically use Firefox Nightly. Teams has been fine in Nightly until today; now I see a prompt to install Chrome or Firefox (!). Surely if Teams works in Firefox Stable it should work in Firefox Nightly too...?
Vivaldi browser. For crying out loud. Please and thank you.
