How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Integrate with MacOS notifications

Notifications built into the OS (which all apps I've seen use other than Outlook and now Teams) are more functional and allow for more user control. Most importantly, they honor Do Not Disturb settings, which is critical.

We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)

    Hi guys. Any update on this? Microsoft is being very complicated in their support forums on this topic. The mac native notifications in the notification center still don't work. In this forum there doesn't seem to be an info on progress either. What is this? If you guys wanna challenge Slack you better move faster.

    Who's the community manager? They are not doing a good job of keeping these up to date. Which is turn, proves this entire system is useless and a waste of time. Either provide timely updates or don't even bother. It's like one foot in, one foot out. Majorly disappointing.

    Please add this soon. I miss almost every notification as I work with mainly full screen apps. All of the notifications disappear before I have a chance to see them.

    Keep in mind, they said they hope to have it public by the end of this quarter. That was over 3 months ago. 1 quarter = 3 months. At this point they are late, and the least they could do is provide an update.

    I guess our comments here are pushed in their in-house notifications. Best way to avoid the issue.

    If the outlook team can do it, so can you. Put those Notifications where they belong: the Notification Center. Would love to see that implemented soon.

    Are there any updates on this please? When using multiple screens and keeping applications full screen (which is what I do 100% of my work time) I do not see the notifications at all...
