Integrate with MacOS notifications
Notifications built into the OS (which all apps I've seen use other than Outlook and now Teams) are more functional and allow for more user control. Most importantly, they honor Do Not Disturb settings, which is critical.
We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)
You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

New decade, same disappointment
Microsoft developers deserve no Christmas this year because they didn't make it in time to release this cr*p. Make it happen, now!
What do we want? Native notifications! When do we want them? NOW!
Come on, Microsoft, make it work!
Today I missed a very important notification due to the Teams notification not showing up while I was in full-screen mode. I cannot believe Microsoft ever implemented such an amateurish approach. They clearly do not use Macs themselves while they are developing. "It compiles, ship it".
Any updates on this.

Any update? This is ridiculous ...

At this point I'd even be content if you told us it was never going to happen, that way I'd know how much to push for us to move to Slack. This silence is the absolute worst.
three posts down one of your customers even wrote the solution for you, what the **** Microsoft?!?! This is just inexcusable at this point and a complete insult that you're not providing any communication when so many are angry about this!

Any update on this??? It seems way overdue..
This is really ridiculous that there is no feedback from Microsoft. We are thinking about replacing teams with other software!
let notification = NSUserNotification()
notification.identifier = message.uuid
notification.title = message.user.name
notification.subtitle = "message.content
notification.soundName = NSUserNotificationDefaultSoundName
let notificationCenter = NSUserNotificationCenter.defaultUserNotificationCenter()
Apparently takes Microsoft years to write, so here's a template, please delete the crap you currently use and use this snippet instead.
Every single day I check this page I end up being disappointed that there is another day without any response from Microsoft.

i have a lot of issues with how it is currently working, since i frequently miss calls because i get no notification of the caller unless i am using an application on the desktop. If i am using any application in full screen (which is most of the time) i don't get any kind of notification that i am recieving a call, not even a notification sound.
it's just stupid how much attention this is getting from your customers and how little you are paying to it. seriously.

c'mon do it! please we don't see notifications!!!!
