Ability to archive channels
Would be nice if we had the ability to archive channels. For example: we created a channel for a specific project. Once the project is complete, we can archive that channel or at least move it out of the primary view. I could see the channel list getting large and clunky quickly with multiple projects many of which are complete.
Also, when a conversation in the channel is complete it should be archived or hidden.

This item remains on the backlog.

We NEED this! So many executives are going into old chats from meetings and replying, stirs up all kinds of confusion.

It can move, merge, copy, archive and export channels
In addition, can change channels from private to public and vice versa
Also available in Microsoft Appsource -

Not sure if this is the place to up-vote something but, yes, please add!
Also if it hasn't been mentioned, but using some combination of "hide" and pinning might help create the about of visibility you would like to see for that channel.
Channels have those features; I don't think conversations do.
