It's a waste not to have it. Please add this feature.

must have. We left slack for teams and now many many people wanting this feature... we might switch back just because of not having it.

Used this all the time in Slack to send links and notes to myself from a mobile phone. Then I could access later on the desktop. I've resorted to old-school email for now. This is a much needed feature.

This is very helpful. It is similar to emailing yourself something to followup on..... why can't this be done. #Slack has it , so does #WhatsApp, or #twist, you can even call yourself on skype!@#!

Will Teams have the ability to DM yourself? I side use Slack so I can share things with myself between devices real-time. Man, wouldn't that be neat if Teams did that? Please make this a thing. Switching teams is not the most convenient or efficient.

Sean, not as a direct message to yourself. For the use case you are describing I do something similar. I created a personal Team for Laszlo and and in the general channel I post messages for myself.I also tag messages in email and created a flow which will create a Planner item in my private Team for follow up.
In short you can use a personal Team for your reminders and file content and apps dashboard you use.

Sean, you can search and up vote this feature request at https://aka.ms/TeamsUserVoice assuming others have requested it. You can also create a new feature request item and add your company to it.(1 liked)<https://teams.microsoft.com/l/message/19:d24ec31708164ea281fa73906180e989@thread.skype/1557251934706?tenantId=72f988bf-86f1-41af-91ab-2d7cd011db47&groupId=e7f0f827-53d1-45a8-b43a-bb4bad764b38&parentMessageId=1557250687629&teamName=Teams in 30 - Group 100&channelName=Chit-Chat&createdTime=1557251934706>

+1 Useful to send content from mobile to desktop and vice versa.

another workaround to bypass this gap is to create a Teams meeting and invite only yourselves or your private email. Join meeting from all devices, then you could pin the meeting to favorites and you could exchange messages via this meeting

Any comment from the Microsoft team on this?

Ditto. OneNote isn't sufficient for this. I also do this to preview how certain messages will format & display when I actually hit send (how links unfurl etc).
