Move a project (channel) from one team to another
We would like to move a project (channel) between groups to keep the information.
This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

Could you please name the features that are more important from your (Microsoft) point of view? Just to understand where your priorities are, I do not understand them at all.
Am just looking at moving to Teams and this is a big deal to us.
Once a customer signs up with us, I want to move their entire channel from the "Prospects" team to "Customers" team.
This is ridiculous, pretty basic function. Sooo limiting without being able to do this!

This would be incredibly helpful for tracking potential projects, then being able to move it to the full team as soon it is a firm job.
Voting for this function.
Can't believe it's not here.
Similarly, echoing Mike's comment......
How many dev's are there in the Teams Dev Team?
You took something with 10,000+ votes and put it on the backlog? Who's the genius that made that decision? Will this be a part of Private Channels by chance?

Quite a serious function that will help when re-organizing needs to take place. Business is not static and as business changes, it creates a lot of unnecessary admin to move channels manually.
This is one of the most important features for us. Please prioritize.
This would be so useful. When you set up your channels and teams you cannot always anticipate how they will evolve over time and who will need access. This would be a major positive if it can be done.

I would like to move an entire Team to a Channel underneath another Team. Is this possible?
John Cvetko commented
Yeah, just needed to do this and it is not available. I now have to recreate the channel. Please consider reprioritizing.

The longer we use Teams the more important this feature becomes. We must have the ability to refactor the teams structure to avoid bloat.

This is a critical low-level feature we need. This is much more important than facial blurring, or AI wizardry. As departments change and grow, Teams needs to allow us to change channel structure as well.
Eric Kruegle commented
Please prioritize moving a channel from one team to another. Very basic need.
Avril Howes commented
This should be high priority! It is a serious shortcoming in the product.

I'm voting to make this a higher priority ... 10k votes doesn't make this a high priority ?
moving conversations to channels should be one of the highest priority items IMO
I need to redesign all channels by moving them.
This feature would worth full for me instead of spending many hours doing it one by one
Please consider prioritizing this work. This would make things so much simpler to organize and manage channels in a Team by moving them to the right team as activities develop. Thanks.
This is a feature that would extremely helpful and save countless hours. Please prioritize.
