Display message on the notification
When a message is going to notify me, I'd like to see the message in the notification instead of a general "XXX has replied to your message", etc.
This feature is available!
Thank you for the suggestions.

We have the feature in normal chat, but since you put a limit to members in a group chat, we need to use channels instead. But then since you give a different notification from channels than from the chat, you NEED to implement the message in the notification. We are moving from skype, and this is a must have feature!

It is insane this doesn't happen. The planner tasks comment from within Teams does this so why not the teams conversation??? Crazzyyy!!

This to me is a no-brainer, I can't believe it's missing from a modern chat platform. We get many connector messages that you can just glance at in other chat platforms (Slack, Hipchat) but with MS Teams you have to open up the app to have any idea of the message contents.
This seems such an obvious one - massive productivity drain on the one hand (having to click on the message to see the text), and surely an easy fix on the other.
Can't believe it's only got 44 votes (well, 45 now...)
I feel this is extremely important we are migrating from Skype for Business persistent chat to Teams and I used to get pop up notifications with a preview of the message, I knew without needing to look at the app whether or not it was important to me. With the general message in Teams if I want to see what it is, I have to actually go look and working with a good sized IT group where people are constantly posting it is distracting and an inefficient use of my time to be stopping constantly and opening teams to see what the notification pertained too. Thanks!

I'd like to see this, but configurable by channel for privacy.
