Channel background picture
Allow upload a picture to change the Channel header background. Will help users to differentiate between channels.

I would love that feature, just created another channel "looking into the future" of that specific team. A specific background would be great to drive this channel.

Every now and then I write to a group chat although I wanted to write to a single user because I cannot distinguish chat rooms without taking a second glance at their actual names. If it were possible to set different background images or colors for different chat rooms it'd be much easier to distinguish them and see at the first glance which people you're writing.

A background image will create a sense of place for the team and to help differentiate one channel from another.

Our office will be having a Christmas MS Teams 'party', and will be exploring all that Teams has to offer in making a fun environment. It really would be a great feature if changing Channels colours/backgrounds were possible..

Yes! Would love to be able to set custom background for different channels similar to how Trello does it

With xmas coming up and people potentially having to work from home over xmas due to Coronavirus; it would be great to see this so that we can have a xmas themed channel for workers to get into the xmas spirit. Anything to customise the channel view for the holidays.

It will also be nice if a text overlay can be specified for the image background i.e. that way the channel name/title or Twitter handle can be displayed.

We have a channel that we use as a log of events within each of our projects and we are not supposed to comment on the posts to keep the log in order. If we could make that background a different color it would cut down on the number of accidental errors on our logs.

Alternatively, a colour change option would be just as helpful.
