Include Office 365 group calendar in teams
It would be good to be able to click on a calendar button on the left hand side to get a view of the Office 365 groups calendar as you would in the calendar app. Good for being able to look and get a glimpse of what is coming up with the group. At the moment I have to go back to the calendar to look at it.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
We would like to volunteer for testing if you are still looking for organizations.
Any updates on the release?
Really need this feature users are starting to get twitchy
We are so excited to see the embedded calendar icon on the left side in Teams! We have been waiting for about a year and it is finally here!!!!
Is it still being tested? It only brings in my personal Outlook calendar and not the group calendar for the Team. Help? Is there a way to configure it differently?
Looks like Outlook.com now has group calendar (it is a free email and calendar group function)! And it works! :)
Hope this means it will be easy to implement a free Outlook.com option in Microsoft Teams and not only a Office 365 group calendar option (small privat non-profits groups, sports, arts, gaming etc for 30-50 people have no membership fees so members cannot use Office 365).
Please upvote the free Outlook.com calendar option here:

How does the current calendar web part on 'teams' connect with 'events' added to the same time? or does it not all all?
What alternative display options are there to display events within teams?
I'm interested in testing when ready.

Any update on when we might expect this? We just transitioned to Teams and a group calendar is something that is definitely missing.
Come on, when you are at it, support free group calendar options in Teams too (like the calendar in Outlook.com, now it is locked to families only).
It is not feasable in every scenario for everyone to buy a 365 license, for instance this is applicable for small sports team, crafts group, gaming or book club etc. A free Outlook.com group calendar is a more realistic option to publish a meetup or practice schedule. WIth tenant switching coming this fall, a working free group calendar would finally make Teams an option for having a private tenant use case for Teams in after work scenarios. It would of course be helpful if Microsoft supported Google Calendars as a free option too.

Hurry! Let me know if you need some help!
I noticed a new calendar button in the Teams-webapp, but unfortunately it only shows the personal calendar, not the group calendars
I volunteer to test!

We just launched Team here and I was shocked there was no calendar that could be shared.. Would Love to see this..
Having a business case right in front of me. Consider me for testing, please.
Please feel free to add me to the test group :)
@Alex, when do you plan a first test phase?
This feature is badly needed and earliest test opportunity would be highly appreciated!
I’d like to test this as well!

Would also like to be involved in testing this. It's something we're obtaining via the slightly rubbish workaround of including the Teams' group calendar in Outlook, which of course makes that calendar outlook visible to folk we really don't want it to be visible to. Glad it's on the way though, it'll make a huge huge difference!
