Include Office 365 group calendar in teams
It would be good to be able to click on a calendar button on the left hand side to get a view of the Office 365 groups calendar as you would in the calendar app. Good for being able to look and get a glimpse of what is coming up with the group. At the moment I have to go back to the calendar to look at it.

@Colm C. You are correct. An O365 group is created for the MS Team. Microsoft implemented a change a year or two ago that hides the O365 group. This is to avoid confusion of it's use. You can run a PowerShell script to unhide it (then load the group calendar via a website tab), but I wouldn't recommend it, especially with this pending new feature. People have expereinced issues, especially running in desktop and mobile modes.
Microsoft, please can you provide an update regarding this development. It is something that is much needed.

I understood that when a Team is created an O365 Group is created and when an O365 Group is created a group calendar is created too.
Should I be able to access the calendar that has been created as an indirect result of the Team being created via the Outlook calendar? I have access to a Team but i'm not able to add a similarly named calendar to Outlook Calendar.
Would love to test this feature!

Go to the Group you want the calendar for:
Copy the URL from your browser:
Add a new tab within a Channel in Teams:
Add a name and the URL you copied from the Outlook Web App:
Sign in to Microsoft when prompted.

We are now into summer and I still cannot add a group calendar to my android phone. Is there a status update?

I agree with this feature. Being able to see the entire group/team's calendar (even if only busy/free) would be extremely useful.

Went to set up a Team for a group of staff today and couldn't believe this feature wasn't there from the start. It's basic functionality to have a usable Calendar in a collaboration site.
What's the timeframe of this actually being released?
