Include Office 365 group calendar in teams
It would be good to be able to click on a calendar button on the left hand side to get a view of the Office 365 groups calendar as you would in the calendar app. Good for being able to look and get a glimpse of what is coming up with the group. At the moment I have to go back to the calendar to look at it.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.

I totally agree with some of the comments below. Calendar is a must for teams. Please add this feature at the earliest as it is causing lot of issues and stopping us using Team.

Not to be rude but I'm not sure how you have a product intended to help teams coordinate and an easy to implement team calendar doesn't make the initial list of absolutely required features.

Stop making everything dependent and sharepoint and make the calendar originate in Teams then sync up with Exchange/outlook and elsewhere. This is why so many other services like Slack and Cerebro are kicking Teams butt.

I think this discussion relates to what we need: a Team calendar that has standing, key milestones/meetings (like tax season and board meetings) that could invite others to the event so it could go to other people's calendars. For each event, there would be links to any appropriate background. It would be a simple, familiar, and manageable way to organize the 20-30 events per year as opposed to using Planner or the another project software. Since these would essentially be stand alone events, there is no need for the inter-connectivity capability of project software.
Can this be done or are we waiting for MS? I really don't like the idea of working through a work around and then repeating/checking everything with the final solution.
