It would be great, if we can add Surveys/polls directly to a Team. Currently, we need to create them externally and post a link to this. If we can include it in the Team, it could be a new tab that users can open and take the Survey/Poll directly.
Hi again, a few of you emailed me that the previous instructions were not working, so here are two more ways you can add Polly.
1. Click on the ellipses of the Team name then click View team. In this window, click the tab that says “Bots.” Then click “Discover Bots” and find Polly.
2. Or just use the search bar in the left rail of your app. Write “Polly” and you should see the bot show up in the results in the auto-complete drop-down.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to tweet to me at www.twitter.com/skprufo or email at this address or just add to this thread
- whatever works for you. :)

Polly is a disappointment:
1) You can't see who voted for what.
2) No option to close the poll.
3) No option for preventing people from changing their vote.
4) No option to delete polls or edit polls.
5) doesn't update immediately, you have to go off the team and back on it to see the changes.
6) It is not intuitive to use (hence why people are having problems using Polly)
I rather have a MS built-in functionality (along with the suggestions)
Yeah this doesn't work you should not have this marked as completed because I tried all the methods above and can't get Polly to show up period.
I cannot access the Bots tab either? Is this a central management console control?
I do not have the Bots Tab when I click on the View Team option in my Team. Is this function only for public teams? Is there something I am missing?
Unfortunately, a bot will also not work for us, since we would need to get it vetted by our security team first as well. This should not be marked as completed, since the functionality is not available in the product.
@firstname.lastname@example.org @Suphatra please at least re-open this issue, and even better please add this functionality to Teams.
free Office365 Form from Office365 Education, give it to Office365 Enterprise and allow user to use Office365 Form to make a form/survey from there (and stay within Office365 Security Framework)

I'm sorry, but this item should not be marked as completed, unless you want to annoy your customers. A "suggested workaround" or "Won't implement" tags would be closer to the truth, as Teams does not have such feature, and you are just suggesting that we could use a third party tool to fill the gap.
And to add to the rest of comments, yes, the Polly bot is unintuitive, impractical to the point of being useless, and an external solution (which is not always an option due to security concerns).
The bot is horrible, difficult to use and the interaction is rudimentary to say nothing of the security concerns. What's plan B?
Almost all comments seem to disagree with approach. Can we revisit?
Yeah: don't really want a bot. Discoverability is terrible and interaction is not familiar. I'd much rather see us just add awesome interactive widgets along the lines of cola.io's work. :(
I like also the native support of a poll functionality. Polly is from a data security perspective a no go for us.

I agree with other, however, since this is already completed and this is another requirement. I left a feedback in another post: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18644608-make-polls-surveys-polly-native-integrate

I agree with some of the other comments, bots are blocked due to company policy, so the only way for us to get this functionality, is to have it built into Teams.
Rick de Vries commented
We´d rather have this integrated into teams as well. Native please.

this is useful, but I question how acceptable this is for enterprises who do not know polly.ai. Is the use of this service covered under the same privacy, security, compliance standards that we expect with our subscription to office 365?
The permissions page asking for permissions that the bot needs to be able to access employee and conversation data is scary.
This would be much better as a native feature.

Include a polling option in the tool - I'd love to be able to survey my teams using the tool. Great for determining everything from options on meeting times to how they feel about content.

For polls you could add the Polly not to your channels and organically create polls. For surveys links to survey monkey seems the best alternative.

While I'm not opposed to it, I think this is a good use case best handled by a third party bot over Microsoft building the functionality.

I am trying to do this using the back-end SharePoint site for the Team and its built-in Survey app. The ask was to use Survey Monkey in a tab but I'd rather keep it integrated.
