Drag chat messages to merge them into one reply thread
Since a lot of people type messages in quick succession, it'd be helpful to have the ability to drag and merge them together into individual "reply threads".

For our use model this is quite important. We have multiple discussions ongoing in one channel and we want to keep the threads together. We don't want to have to create a separate channel because these sub-discussions are short lived and related.
Really often people just reply, adding a new thread. Being able to merge these sub-threads would be every useful. Thanks. -

The threaded conversations are a great feature, however it is really easy for people to accidentally create a new thread when it really should have been a reply to an existing thread. It would be nice if users could merge their own thread into a previous one and/or for Administrators to do the same.

Would also be nice to move out a thread of replies into its own independent channel when the ideas can be develpped without polluting the original channel.
