Notification popups should be at least modifiable by the user... but have the ability to be turned on to ALL Teams, Groups and not just direct messages.

I can't use the product without this feature.

Have to have this feature. We use Slack for team communication, but for some channels, I need my team to be notified of all communications. Please provide a setting that allows users to customize the level of notifications they are comfortable with.

This feature is definitely needed, one of the key features missing? Surely must be implemented ASAP! Otherwise, it's a really good product and a replacement for Skype for Business.

This is desperately needed... We are looking to use this as a replacement for Skype.

Team conversations doesn't generate notification popups like private messages. E.g. if I want to send a message to my team chat about a urgent outage for XYZ system no one will see it without actively looking at the solution

I think the Teams app is really nifty so far. I think one of the critical things would be to set the capability of turning off notifications for certain threads or chats. Especially if you're in a large team and people are posting a lot. It can get annoying to get a million notifications for one team but you're not able to mute it (whether it be long term or temporarily) when you're out of the office.
I did see you are able to adjust the notifications for the app but it shuts off notifications overall.

Also extend to iOS and by extension Apple Watch. On mobile, client need the ability to only get notifications for selected teams and channels. Otherwise, the 'noise' will become a problem as you join into multiple teams.

Adding a +1 for this. Notifications should be available for any new conversation started in a team that you are part of; not just a reply to one you began.

Also, an alert banner doesn't seem to show up on the desktop app unless the message is a reply to one I've posted.

Notifications should be on par with Slack. I like how many options I have there so I configure different notifications for desktop, for mobile, e-mail and so on.

Hi, we are evaluating teams to replace telegram. We like what we are seeing right now, as it really provides more than just chat. But for us to replace telegram, we need a true chat solutions, which means notification for teams we are member of as well.
Would be great if you can provide the option to turn on notifications for teams.Great work BTW.
