I am a member of multiple teams, and I would like a way to specify unique notification rules for each team (e.g. I might care about channel mentions in one team more than channel mentions in another).

I would like to be able to customize each kind of notification for each team and each channel I am a part of.
I.E. If I'm part of the All Company Team, and there is a channel in that Team for Tech Support and General, I would like to be able to prioritize the Tech Support channel over the General channel, yet still be able to follow both.

Ooh yes different sounds would be huuuge

Would like to have an option to ensure I get EVERY NOTIFICATION for one channel but only some notifications for others. Yes very important.
Most definitely. The biggest need remains to have a UNIQUE notification sound where @user is employed. (This was one of Slack's biggest failings)
Another use case would be to assign unique sound notifications based on the user who posts. Need a way to easily distinguish posts from, say, supervisors, from everyone else.

Still need notifications from Integrations within channels. An alert from a third party integration does't appear as a notification. Additionally, the app doesn't use the built-in notification channels in either windows 10 or OSX.
The other missing item is the ability to set quiet hours on notifications.

would be nice to have options for email, banner, etc just like you can for other types of notifications you can receive.

You can follow channels.
Try to follow all channels of your team.

Even if you're following the channels you don't receive any notifications if an email is sent to the channel.
You can follow individual channels within a team and get all notifications from a channel that way

We don't get notification just now when a new message is sent to the Team/Channel. This is really important

Click the ... three dots next to the channel name and click Follow this channel. Then you'll get pop-up notifications.
It's very anoying see messages only when you open the app.
Turn notifications on for team channels!!!

It's distracting while using the Teams app to have a Teams notification pop up in the bottom right corner.

And sometimes tagging doesn't work. Sometimes when I start a new conversation in a Team, it doesn't bring the pop-up with the user's name so I can choose it to tag them. If I go into an existing conversation, it'll find the user just fine, but if i go directly down to start a new one, it won't find the user.

Flashing 'Teams' icon on the startbar, just like Skype. Really necessary!
No one knows there is a new message unless they are tagged.
Please implement proper notifications. Just copy slack!
We should be able to choose a notification strategy for each channel (and preferably each device).
All messages that are displayed should trigger notifications. Messages from connectors are just as important, if not more so, that messages from people.
Thanks in advance!

Also allow me to set notification preferences in alignment with date/time (working hours, timezone). Allow me to override it for VIP people, VIP teams or VIP channels.
